Emma was wonderful. She took us to all of our points of interest and took the time to bring us to a few special places not on the itinerary. The cheese sampling in Pont-L’Eveque was great experience.

It was a pleasure to spend the day with Eric. A well organized tour with a very knowledgeable guide. A “must do” in Bayeux.

We were very lucky and extremely grateful that this tour was modified to our needs and definitely worth the additional costs. We were picked up at the Le Havre cruise ship port and driven to the beautiful cities of Bayeux and Honfleur by a LOCAL resident. Her immense knowledge of history and the English language almost equaled her love and compassion for France. Also, an excellent driver and a non-guide persona which made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend for the day soaking up the unique beauty of these small towns in a wonderful country.

I had such a good time with my guide, who was personable and friendly. The day was flexible, within the framework of the scheduled tour. I was traveling solo, so this felt like I was being shown around by a friend. It was a somewhat chilly day in November, so there were no crowds. I highly recommend this tour!

Our private tour of Bayeux, Honfleur and Pays d’ Auge was disappointing. We felt that the day unplanned and disorganized. Our driver didn’t have a specific itinerary and he never showed us Bayeux. We first went to the cheese factory and then drove around aimlessly for quite some time. We finally landed in Honfleur for lunch. After we remarked that we wanted to see the cathedral we did visit that. We finished the day with the Calvados Experience. While our driver was pleasant and friendly, he really didn’t tell us what we were seeing unless we asked. We were hoping to see and learn more about the region and its history. The cheese factory and the Calvados Experience was interesting and the countryside was beautiful but in 9 hours we only made 4 stops. If we wanted to wander aimlessly we would have rented a car. We had a nice day but this fell way short of our expectations.

We had a great day on this private tour. Our guide was very accommodating, especially since several in our party of four had mobility issues. She did a great job of taking us around Honfleur and it was great to see the country side in the area and especially the little town we visited in Pays d'Auge. Thanks for making it a great day for us.

Our guide was Roman and we were lucky enough to have him on two of our other tours. His knowledge and passion for the history of Normandy was very impressive. These small towns were picturesque and I especially liked Honfleur. The cobblestone streets, harbor, church and shops were interesting and quaint. That being said, we didn't go to Pays d'Auge but to a lovely beach town instead, not sure why it was changed.

Honfleur was the start of the trip! We recommend this tour very highly. Thanks Mat, our guide...

Our tour-guide Adrien was knowledgable, friendly, fluent in English and full of wonderful ideas that took us off the beaten path. He was our guide on two tours: a group tour to Mt. St. Michel and a private tour to the Pays D'Auge and Honfleur. Knowing my interest in military history, he took side-roads that led to important but mostly-forgotten battle sites. A memorable tour led by an extraordinary young man.

I was surprised when the guide showed up and asked me what we were going to do. I thought thatn was what you did.
The guide was knowledgeable and very personable, but had no instructions on the tour itinerary..
