City Wonder was very detailed/clear, with reminders, with their instructions before our tour! Most importantly, our tour guide, Alexandra, was very friendly and well knowledgeable about the three places - Vartican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica!!

We had an outstanding experience touring the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. Our guide, Oksana, was incredibly knowledgeable bringing centuries of history, art, and architecture to life with engaging stories. The small 10-person tour was well organized, paced perfectly, and made navigating the crowds much easier. We appreciated Oksana’s professionalism, friendliness and willingness to answer questions. Oksana’s passion of the subject made waiting in the longer line to enter through the Holy Doors more enjoyable, as she continued to share facts and stories about the Vatican & St. Peter’s Basilica. This tour greatly enhanced our visit to Rome and I would highly recommend this tour and Oksana to anyone wanting a deeper and more meaningful Vatican experience.

The museum was very nice and the tour guide was very nice ,we pay also to see the Saint Peter basilica but I was close they didn’t offer a refund or maybe to take us the next day

Felt cheated that management did not tell us that basilica would be closed after 11.30, when the tour started at 10.30. They knew in good time but pretended that the Vatican ordered the shut down immediately.

Viator books you with a local guide. There are several different ones we made several of them in Paris and Rome. Some youtube channels who have their own private guides tell you there is no "beat the line" but every one we did, we went express right in passing everyone. Our guide for this one was great she kept up with every one and gave a lot of very good information. I would highly recommend her. Her name was Laura, she works for City Wonders.

A good experience, would have loved even more free time in the museums, Cosimo was an excellent guide

While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesday mornings, access to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included due to the Papal Audience. Entry is only possible after 1:00 PM.
- St Peter's Basilica is not accessible on the express tours options
