Lan Ha Bay & Secret Ha Long: Cat Ba Island Escape 2D/1N

We had a great time with our guide Tony. He took care of every tour member at all times. He shared a lot of insights about the Halong Bay and Vietnamese Culture. The acitvities with him were super fun. We definitely recommend the tour!

Cat Ba ventures went above and beyond taking great care of us. The sights lived up to the pictures, especially because they took us early to avoid the crowds. We got the chance to kayak a secluded lagoon and listen to the wildlife in stillness. We got really lucky and even saw two of the severely endangered langur monkeys. We were also able to swim on what was basically our own private beach. Really a one of kind experience! We were very happy with the accomodations on the boat itself. Cool AC, hot showers, and delicious family-style meals. To top it all off, we had the best possible tour guide, Hang! He was full of indepth knowledge and jokes. We learned a ton about the history, wildlife, and geology of the area. We were even treated to a mindblowing magic show after dinner!

Amazing boat cruise to less crowded areas in Halong Bay. Our guide Tony was welcoming, funny and informed us every step of the itinerary. I’m vegan and they provided extra food for me at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean rooms on the boat, both kayaking and swimming activities were a lot of fun. Everything was well organized and they made sure people catch their connecting buses etc.

Great experience. Our guide Hàng knew English very well. He also knew a ton about the area! We kayaked, and saw monkeys. The local fishing village. The lunch served was very good also! It was like a Vietnamese Thanksgiving. LOTS OF FOOD!

Nice boat en nice crew. They take you to less crowded spots so you can enjoy nature way more. Hang spotted al the wildlife and gave a lot of information. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on the 2D/1N cruise. Tony was absolutely the best guide! He was so knowledgeable about the area, and took us to less crowded areas and hidden lagoons. We had so much fun listening to him tell stories too. The whole trip was so peaceful as the bays were not crowded with other boats, yet we were able to enjoy the same beautiful scenery. Thank you also to the whole crew on the boat who were all so professional! Would love to come back in the future :)

Really great experience ! Despite the rain, Tony really made this trip an amazing journey: great explanations, jokes and even magic tricks were on the menu !

This is my second time with Cat Ba Ventures, and it was even better than 7 years ago. Great tour and experience if you want to see Ha Long Bay (and less touristy compared to a departure from Ha Long/Hai Phong as I understand it). The food and rooms are amazing as well. Special shout out to anh Hăng (Hang), our tour guide! He was an amazing guide, and kept us entertained with stories, music and magic tricks along the way!

Great experience, Viet and the whole crew were very nice and super helpful. Kayaking was fun, as well as the bike ride through the city. Definitely recommend!

Had the absolute best time on the tour with Tony as our tour guide! He is such a funny and interesting guy and gave some great information on the history of Vietnam, the food was amazing and varied and the rooms clean and spacious. Can’t recommend this tour enough. When they say less touristy areas they’re not lying! Thanks again Tony you made this a great experience!
