Hanoi Old Quarter: Epic Street Food & Cultural Walk

Looked forward to this tour and the family wasn't disappointed. Our guide, Olaf, was knowledgeable and patient with our small group which included a child and an elderly. I knew that time was limited for the tour but she didn't rush us and was very understanding. We had four dishes, one dessert and one beverage of our choice. She explained the background of all the food we ate. Loved the Bun cha and iced coconut coffee! A great introduction to the food scene in Hanoi. She also secured our tickets for the water puppet show at the end of the food tour. Enjoyed the show even if we didn't understood the lyrics.

Excellent tour! We visited 4 or 5 different restaurants and had about 10 different foods to try, from classics like Pho rolls and Bahn my, to more unknown delicacies like 'pillow cakes' and 'sticky rice soups' - foods i wouldn't have tried or even known existed without this tour. Our tour guide Marina was lovely, she knew excellent English and was very welcoming, friendly, and jolly - just easy to talk to. She guided us confidently through Vietnamese traffic and gave nice background information on the history of the dishes and Vietnamese (food) culture. Highly recommended!

Lovely experience! Great food, good variety. Takes the difficulty out of finding & choosing good quality and traditional local food. Great value for money. Mona was super knowledgeable and sweet.

Best food walking tour with very very nice foods, and our guide Selena is the best. She was also able to give us great food recommendations for the other days, and it was really nice to get her view on life in Vietnam and Hanoi!! She definitely is a star!! Recommended!

Amazing experience! Our guide Ethan was very friendly and knowledgeable, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. The tour covered popular and lesser known dishes, they even adjusted the menu for vegetarians. Highly recommended! :)
