The skip the line feature was great! Allowed us to jump on the first train headed up! The Statue of the Redeemer was amazing! Did not disappoint at all! Happy I made the purchase!

I booked the tour specifically to go to Christ the Redeemer which was sold as a 3 hour tour. I was packed in a van with 14 people and taken all over the city of Rio to other destinations for over 5 hours. I questioned the guide why I was not returned to my hotel after going to Christ the Redeemer, because I had plans for the day. He basically ignored my request and said we would be done soon. He said I would be dropped off first to my hotel, he then left several of us on van with the driver and went on another tour. I was dropped off last.

In the beginning I was slightly frustrated, because I assumed this was a private tour to visit Christ the Redeemer only to discover it was a group tour with many sights. Overall it was a good tour. 👍🏽

It is a GROUP tour and if you are not lucky you have to wake up earlier than others and wait in the car untill all other guests picked up in different hotels. They are late like 10 minutes without informing us and when i sent a whatsapp message they pretend meeting time was supposed to be this time and didn't say sorry. They put us in Spanish speaker group and guide spoke Spanish mostly and then very short explanation in English, missing much information. Also, the explanation quality is not good. Cannot learn anything much. Lastly, this tour isn't including the lunch, which is okay for me but they put us in the guest group who has lunch in program, so we had to ride the car together to the restaurant and they call a random taxi for us (** in the street with bad traffic) and we had to waste half an hour waiting for a cab coming to the restaurant. Why just can't give us cash and we catch any cab? There were bunch of empty taxis but just because the guide had to call it with an app (and also why not call a cab in advance while she was in the car when we almost arrive???) And we had to wait this car arriving for a while... or why can't call a cab for us after finishing jesus statue tour? I think the price gap was not that big.. Many things that I cannot understand. We booked this because we wanted some good guide explaining us background of this statue but we could just have visited our own. If you are an English speaker and do not want to waete your time, i do not recommend this trip.

Your description of this tour was not quite how it happened. Your bus takes us only part way up and then you have take a bus run by the park it is in. Your guide should have had the tickets for this when we arrived...but we had to wait 30 minutes in the blazing sun while she got them and THEN we had to wait almost an hour in the line to get the bus up to Christ. Unacceptable! What a colossal waste of time. Once back down at the bottom, our guide (Francyelle) said we had time to shop. So, I went into the shop while others looked at the photos that were taken before our ride up. When we came out 10 minutes later, everyone was gone. We assumed they walked back down to the waiting area for our bus back to the hotel. Indeed they were there. Francyelle asked who was missing once down at the pickup point. Our other family said we were shopping. She asked if one of them could ring us because we had to leave RIGHT NOW, that the bus was coming. We showed up moments later. She saw our shopping bags and asked, Where are you receipts? My mother and I pulled them out. She snatched them and started to hurry away. I said, Where are you going? She responded she would be right back. She came back 20 MINUTES later! and our bus was no where in sight. She said she had to get her commission. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? She said we HAD to leave right away but all of a sudden she takes off with our receipts without any explanation? OH HELL NO! Not cool. I had to ask for our receipts back as she didn't want to return them to us. I said that I would need them for customs upon arrival back in the USA and she finally relinquished them. Our bus did not show up for another 30 minutes!!! Sadly, for you, I am a travel agent. I will NEVER sell this tour to any of my clients.

1h30 heure de bus pour récupérer l’ensemble du groupe avant de reprendre la route pour aller sur le site ! Beaucoup trop long pour le peu de temps resté sur place ! Prise en charge à l’hôtel à 8h pour être sur le site à 10h45 !!!! Guide décevant qui préfère nous faire écouter de la musique dans le bus plutôt que nous donner des informations locales
