Big Island Grand Tour: Volcanoes, Waterfalls & History

It was a good trip. We toured most important places in Big Island. The guide was a good storyteller. He provided good service as well. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour of the whole island. Henry was our guide and his story telling and historical knowledge were both entertaining and educational. We saw so many things in one day that we could not have done efficiently on our own. My husband and I do a lot of traveling and tours and this ranked very highly. We capped off the day with a gorgeous sunset. Do the tour. Do it early in your trip. Ask for Henry.

Great experience with our fun and knowledgeable guide, Dreu. The trip is long (11 hours approx, in a super comfortable and clean sprinter van) but well worth it. Hawaiian history, culture, foods and breath-taking views were highlighted throughout the day. Would definitely use wasabi tours again!

What an amazing time we had on our 11 hour tour with Bret. Bret was very knowledgeable about the “Big Island in a day tour” the views were spectacular, black sand beach, waterfalls, volcano tunnel, steam vents all were a hit..Not to mention the ukulele music he played during our lunch. Highly recommended… definitely a 5 star

The Island/Volcano tour with Wasabi is the greatest. They are efficient, serve good food and great snacks, informative, and fun. Jason gave us lots of info and answered all kinds of questions, even being willing to say he didn't know. He provided fun island music and safe driving the whole time. We had enough time at most of the stops so we could look around and enjoy the ambiance. I highly recommend this company.

The day is long, but you know that when you book the tour. I think it was absolutely worth it; you really do get to see all the major highlights of the big island and we were lucky enough to see episode 38 of Kilauea erupting. Kevin was a great tour guide and knows alot about Hawaii. There are bathrooms at nearly every stop we made, and bottled water and snacks were available. It's about 3.25 miles total walking for the day if you visit all of the stops on the tour. Some stops are more accessible than others, and you will encounter steep inclines and stairs at certain points.

The Big Island in a Day tour with Henry was truly outstanding and the highlight of my time on the island. Henry was personable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable, weaving history, culture, and local stories into every stop in a way that kept the whole group engaged and entertained. He managed the day seamlessly, from timing and comfort breaks to photo stops and helpful tips, so all we had to do was relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. Henry’s warm personality and professionalism turned a great itinerary into an unforgettable experience, and this tour is highly recommended to anyone wanting to see the best of the Big Island in just one day.
