Dear visitors, my visit to the Marine Memorial and the historic submarine U 995 in May was truly impressive. Both sights touched me deeply and left a lasting impression. The view from the Marine Memorial tower over the Kiel Fjord was breathtaking and left me speechless. It was a wonderful opportunity to admire the beauty of the landscape while reflecting on the history and significance of this place. The Marine Memorial itself created an atmosphere of awe and respect. It was moving to see how the deceased and fallen people are remembered and honored here. It is important that such places are preserved and visited by visitors from all over the world to keep the memory of the past alive. The complex as a whole was very well maintained and well signposted, which made my visit pleasant and informative. I can recommend a visit to the Marine Memorial and the submarine U 995 to anyone who wants to experience the history and beauty of the Kiel region. Thank you to everyone who helped make my visit an unforgettable experience.
