The trip was enjoyable, though not particularly exceptional. Perhaps the experience felt less personal due to the large bus and group size. That said, it did meet expectations for traveling with a bigger group. In contrast, our day trip in Edinburgh with a smaller group of 18 people in a mini-bus was truly delightful. The intimacy and flexibility of the smaller setting made a noticeable difference. It might be worth considering for more tour agencies to offer smaller group options, as they can greatly enhance the overall experience.

Great experience with the windmills and the cheese shop. I wish the excursion could've been a little bit longer. Cheese-making demonstrarion IS NOT a demo, but only a verbal explanation of the cheese-making process. Unlike other tours, this specific one is too commercialized; more focused on getting guests to purchase cheese (which are very delicious) and clogs. Mercedes our guide was very informative (she even told us to take it easy, get early dinner and relax inside our hotel rooms due to the impeding wind/rain storm due to hit Amsterdam that evening). Herman, our driver, was terrific and very friendly.

There were too many people on the tour. It was impossible to see the windmill workings or the clog maker demonstration because it was too crowded.

Very nice. Different areas seen wonderful trip. Amazing places seen. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

We were not given much time in Zaanse Schanz as we would have liked to have had. Demonstration in the windmill was very informative and the clog making in Marken was entertaining. However we were disappointed with the cheese making demonstration as it wasn’t really a demonstration of cheese making. W

Great experience! Would highly recommend. Might be difficult for someone who has any walking/ mobility issues.

Guides walked and talked fast. Definitely need to be upfront and close. I walk with a cane so I missed somethings.

Great excursion. Wish we had had more time at the Windmill village as we didn’t get a chance to explore the shops. Felt a bit rushed but other than that we enjoyed all the stops.

Excellent overview of the area wetlands. We learned about the windmill contributed to making the area livable. Our guide Diana was wonderful!
