Absolutely loved this trip! In fact went again the second night due to my original plan being cancelled . Went to two different areas and both fantastic midnight sun views at the top. Both times the guide Evgeni was very friendly, chatty, super informative and took some amazing photos . Would thoroughly recommend using Wandering Owl. I also had planned the daytime hike which changed to the Express Fjord Trip ( another highly recommended trip to do )

I booked last minute, to catch a good weather window when it cleared up suddenly in the evening. Our guide, Evgeni, is a great guy, very easy to talk to and well traveled. He made sure the hike was comfortable, informative, and rewarding. The hike we did was by no means too strenuous, but not too easy either. We got a fantastic view of two fjords, a mountain valley, and surrounding mountains from the top, and it was beautiful all the way through. Tbe snack was tasty and the drinks were hot, which was great because it got pretty cold, so be prepared. I had 4 layers, hat, gloves, good socks and boots, and it was still chilly (no more than 5 degrees, probably, if not less). The highlight of my trip to tromso, for sure. Would highly recommend and would do it again myself!

Our small group enjoyed this hike with Evegny. We had glorious weather. The pace was just right with ample time to take pictures. Evegny gauged the pace of the trek as well as choice of trek well. The midnight sandwich/drinks were perfect. We weren’t sure we would be able to do a hike at this late hour after going all day but between the sights and Evegny we had no problems at all. Highly recommend this hike.

The hike was enjoyable, easily manageable for two 70+ individuals. The guide was courteous and informative, food/drink provided was good. The weather was Norway weather (think Iceland and Alaska with rarely blue skies), but we were dressed for it with GoreTex coats for the intermittent rain.

Romain was our tour guide, and he was fantastic! He had so much knowledge of Norway that he shared and also his experiences of other countries where he worked. The hike was not strenuous and the payoff views were incredible. Also the berry tea we had at the top was delicious. The photos he took were amazing and great for our memories. Thank you wandering Owl!

Evgeni was a great guide! He did not rush us, found berries for us all, shared interesting information about the area and took lots of photos. Even though the hike was easy, the views did not disappoint! The views were spectacular! We even saw some reindeer. A fine way to pass en evening.

We were provided a friendly guide for a small group hike. We did not rent a car and we're not familiar with trails or sites that might allow for a healthy night hike at a time when the sun did not set. We were shown a nice spot to see glaciers, fjords, peaks, the North Sea and beautiful skies. Michael joyfully showed some of his favorite spots- which we enjoyed.

Despite being very jet-lagged, we three enjoyed this tour so much. The experience of climbing a mountain was challenging, but Michael our guide was such a super nice person with his knowledge , sandwich-making ability and clear love and respect for the landscape. Plus he takes excellent photos! After such a physical tour, he then drove us safely back to Tromsø. I liked how this tour was very personal and felt private even though we were in a group. Thank-you Michael and we hope to see you again in the future.

I huffed and puffed all the way to the summit but OMG it was so worth all the huffing and puffing lol . The view was stunning. We lucked out the day we went on the hike. The weather cooperated and the midnight sun put on a show. The group we hiked with was so friendly and we had an incredible guide, Evgeni. He was friendly, kind and paced himself with me when he saw I was slowing down. You can say he talked me all the way to the summit. Thank you, Evgeni. I will never forget your kindness.
