Very nice tour. Enjoyed seeing how wooden shoes are made and seeing the insides of a working windmill. Location was a bit touristy, but not unexpected. Well worth the cost. Sharon was a fantastic tour guide!

Great trip. Guide was entertaining and spoke the most understandable English. Beautiful village, great cheeses and the wife loved the windmills. Happy wife happy life so 5 stars!

We did see a working windmill, but the wooden shoe and cheese making portions were just two minute demos in their souvenir shop. I expected to see where they made the shoes and the cheese. Very good marketing, but not a good tour.

Absolutely loved this day. Our guide Sharon was so knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this day, to see a different part of Amsterdam other than the city.

Fantastic trip from beginning to finish! Pick up location easily found and reception very efficient. We were fortunate to have a local resident Kay lead our tour and she gave us a truly personal experience. Watching them making clogs was great and the cheese production educational. The working windmill actually grinding limestone for paint production was a true highlight. We were even fortunate enough to have a blustery wind driving the mills and the requisite rain shower complete with rainbow. Truly an exceptional tour.

Claudia our guide was wonderful - very personable and knowledgeable. She did a wonderful job explaining everything along the way and made the whole experience fun and engaging. David our driver was also great. He gave a great introduction and overview on the drive to Zaanse Schans. Overall a smooth and thoroughly enjoyable experience - highly recommend.

What a lovely relaxing day. Our tour guide collected us from our hotel and drove us to Zaanse Schans. What a beautiful place, very peaceful and full of history. We saw clogs being made, tasted the best cheese ever and got to witness the windmills in action. After that we were driven back to our hotel. Highly recommended.

Great to learn about wooden shoes , cheese and windmills. They made a wooden shoe and cheese in front of us. We tasted cheese and climbed to the top of a windmill. Our guide was very informative and our driver was very helpful
