Leila was absolutely amazing on the Discovery Tour! Very knowledgeable lady and clearly very passionate about the ships and the nautical heritage of the city. Me and my partner loved every minute, and she was very kind to stop and answer any questions we had at the end. As for the museum gallery, that is also well worth a visit! Full of information about the Titanic, from its construction right up to the sinking. Lots of interactive elements to the displays too, meaning it’s good for kids. An incredible experience overall and the clear highlight of our trip to Belfast!

We loved learning more about the ship and Belfast's shipbuilding. Great history lesson and understanding the community behind the ship. You should plan over two hours to see everything.

What an absolutely phenomenal place this is. I highly recommend taking the full tour. You are met with a extremely knowledgeable tour guide (Layla) who takes you deep into the history of this shipyard and tells the stories normally forgotten by history in a constructed and concise way. I have had an interest in the Titanic for 35 years and honestly, and I know stuff, I was learning. You also get to go on, yes on the Nomadic which is the only WSL vessel in the world all faithfully restored to the highest standard. And there's the Titanic Hotel.. we unexpectedly got upgraded into the Titanic suite, equipped with original large scale hand drawn plans of the big three and consisted of a large, well the largest hotel room I have been in to date, and then there's the bar.. WOW FACTOR. Only a few rooms away from this beautifully restored original drawing room which is now a superb venue is the offices where the royalty of Titanic spent their working day and if's open for you to walk around. So if Thomas Andrews is your guy, then sit in his office, walk on the same floor as he did and then Lord Pirrie, relax in his presentation room where he entertained Bruce Ismay. Walk the same cobbles as the 15.000 arch men, stand on the spots where all the historic photos were taken, touch the same concrete where the Olympic class liners were brought to life. Walk the same original staircases where this history was breathed into life. Experience the life as a shipyard worker through the tour and all the dangerously hard conditions they had to work in for a simple weekly wage. you need to go here, if you are reading this as a neutral then GO. Do it all. Do it now. Robert D. Ballard has been here, James Cameron Has been here, book it I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Even the weather didn't annoy me ;) Well done Titanic Belfast and thank you for an unforgettable experience. end

Overall this was an amazing experience. From start to finish (except one thing which I will explain later) the experience was incredible. Yes it's busy but despite a previous review you can see and read everything you want. The ride is DEFINITELY worth waiting 15 minutes for as this immerses you in the whole ship building process. Do not visit here without doing the ride you will miss out. Towards the end of the experience it becomes incredibly sobering and emotional. Especially when you see all the names on the wall of the people who lost their lives. There is a very haunting model of the Titanic that is suspended in mid air and the way this has been done is very emotional to watch along with artifacts and belonging of the people who died. However, there is one thing we found that is incredibly disrespectful. After seeing all the names and artifacts of the people who died in this horrific tragedy there is something at the very end that should not be there. There is a mock up of the Titanic bow where people can take selfies. Quite frankly we found that absolutely disgusting. All those people that died and then there were people laughing and joking taking pictures on a fake bow of the ship. Get rid of this, it completely wrong and disrespectful to those that died. It wasn't a joke!

The interactive museum itself is very comprehensive and impressive and the use of modern technology works well to elevate the experience. Unfortunately, it was so overcrowded. We had to wait to see exhibits because there were so many people, had to wait 10 minutes to get into some lifts and then 25 minutes to get on a ride as well. There are signs in the queue for the ride saying 20 minutes from this point - so it’s something that they are clearly well aware of. So do they reduce the sizes of the groups for each time slot? Of course not. They clearly care more about maximising profit than giving the guests an enjoyable experience. Great museum let down by greedy management.

Now this has been on my bucket list for ages. We booked a timed entrance and got very stressed getting there on time. The staff member at the entrance said “ we aren’t busy so don’t worry about being late” after reading other reviews about how strict they were we were quite surprised. However……if that’s not busy then I wouldn’t want to go when they are!!! Lots of people and no direction as to how to go round……we kept going back as we’d missed rooms. That said we did enjoy it all but felt we were in everyone’s way trying to read things. Our favourite place was actually outside which was the site where they built the titanic and the Olympic. It’s so nice to stop and imagine it all. If you are going don’t do what we did and not realise the dry dock where they fitted out the titanic after its launch was just five mins walk away!! This is pretty much how it was left ( judging by the pictures!!)

An expensive experience but well worth the money. A lot to learn about not just the titanic but Belfast itself. There is also a cafe and a gift shop on the ground floor.

Excellent museum for all ages. A lot of information if you have the time to read it. If you’re with kids then there’s also lots going on with videos, a gentle ride and models.

This was undoubtedly one of the best visitor centre experiences I’ve ever had. It tells the tragic story of the Titanic in a very sensitive way, and the immersive experience is stunning! From elation to tragedy in two hours is a difficult journey to offer a visitor, but they do it extremely well. Definitely well worth a visit if you’re in Belfast. We will carry lots of lasting thoughts and memories home with us following our visit.

Wonderful experience. The attention to detail incorporated into the museum was exceptional! Spent 3 hours there and needed more time! Well done! Clean, helpful staff and cute cafes and merchandise.
