Amsterdam's Exclusive Luxury Canal Cruise & Bar

Short canal boat ride, with a guide that could not be understood due to low volume. There were only a few interesting stops and the rest of the time was spent trying to embarrass passengers who couldn’t speak Dutch. Unlimited drinks means Heineken and cheap wine. Bites are small chips. It definitely sounds more luxurious than it actually is. In a market where there are many, many boat tours, choose this one in a pinch but probably anything else otherwise.

We had an amazing time on the canal tour with Salim and Eli! Both were super friendly, knowledgeable, and funny — they made the ride not just beautiful but also really engaging. The boat was comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we learned so much about Amsterdam’s history and hidden gems. The meeting was easy to find- all the crew members were welcoming and pleasant . The ride was comfortable- we saw a lot of historic buildings and learned a lot about Amsterdam. Our tour guide had a great sense of humor.

A lovely start to our Amsterdam holiday. The boat was very spacious, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Relaxing and informative

Our guide was very good: skillful at navigating the boat through the canals and sharing information and history of each area, despite rain and very heavy boat traffic around us. Apparently there was supposed to be a second crew member aboard, but this person was not available. With the captain acting solo, our “Bites and Unlimited Drinks” package meant we were offered a drink only at the start (but not informed that this was our last chance) and did not get any food. Also, the boat had been out in the pouring rain before the cruise. The seats were soaked, with puddles on the surfaces. The crew wiped them with squeegees but this didn’t make much difference. They offered umbrellas but it was still very cold and wet. If they had had coverings on the seats before, or blankets during the cruise, it would have been more comfortable. Amsterdam was beautiful despite the rain and our guide worked hard, but it could have been better with planning and full staffing.

Unlimited night time canal cruise, captain was very informative and some great little bits of knowledge. Canals were all lit up and very pretty, drinks were plentiful, only negative was the snacks or bites were simple a packet of crackers.

Great tour! The drinks were enjoyable, and the ride was long enough to see all the major canal areas in Amsterdam. The boat driver, a woman, was excellent, and the ride was very smooth. Our guide was funny and shared interesting historical facts about the river and the houses along it.

I LOVED this canal cruise! I was only in Amsterdam for an afternoon but I feel like I was able to learn so much.

Amsterdam to Budapest was just the very best !! we joined the Viking longship after a few days looking over Amsterdam. The many villages and cities we visited were marvellous. No exception to great service and super meals with wines from the different areas we sailed through served by very obliging happy staff,
