Diana was the best tour guide! I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with her and learning about Dutch artists. Her warm personality and visual aids were plus to the presentation. The plan of going to two museums in a day was daunting but with her guidance we were able to see almost the entirety of both museums.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Van Gogh. Our guide, Irina, was wonderful and very well informed. She made the tour so much better than if we had done it alone.

One of our priorities in coming to Amsterdam was to tour the Rijks and Van Gogh museums and knew we couldn’t do it without an expert guide. Ewald was exceptional. His knowledge of history and art is vast. He made sure to tailor the tour to what we wanted to see but we deferred to him and his expertise to lead the way. Such a phenomenal experience that anyone interested in art history should do. The best.

Monique was an excellent guide and shared her knowledge in an interesting way throughout the exhibits. She really made us appreciate the works of art and related history.

Paula is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgeable and so passionate. She weaves technical details of the paintings with stories from Van Gogh’s personal life. An extremely memorable experience.

This is an amazing tour. Our guide, Anna N., uses her knowledge of politics to provide a unique and insightful perspective on the art industry generally as well as notable works of art in the Rijks and VG Museum. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She is also very funny! Lastly, we were running a few minutes late and she graciously waited for us, followed by a wonderful and extensive tour of both museums. I strongly recommend this tour with Anna N. for 2 reasons: we learned about the art industry as a whole and the underpinnings of why artists come to fame; we learned how to properly view and understand works of art by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and other notable artists.

Anna N was exceptional with stories and scandals which both added knowledge and awe to my tour! I did both Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum on the same day with a short lunch break in-between. Anna N was equally passionate at both museums.

This was an excellent "best of" tour of the two most popular art museums in Amsterdam. Anna was our guide and was extremely interesting, knowledgable, and had great background info on artists and the art work we viewed. I learned things I'd never heard about what specific items meant if included in a painting of that period. Her background stories were fascinating as well as informative.
