The short time generally allowed to cruise passengers to go ashore as their ship is in the harbor, would seem incompatible with the philosophy of the “traveler”. One would think that short time inevitably means haste, forcing shore excursionists to dash through the city as hasty “tourists”… well, that is not true! You can visit Venice like a local even with little time available: you only need a “Friend” by your side! Please let a real Venetian welcome you and accompany you to your chosen destination, in the easiest and quickest way. Let me introduce you to this city, providing you with the best information to appreciate it at fullest, as well as tips on how to move, where to eat, where to shop etc. A shore excursion in Venice is not complete without Saint Mark’s Square, I know, but let us get there through the less touristic routes, those that your travel companions will certainly miss by jumping immediately on the shuttle or blindly following the yellow signs around. Be Venetian !

Nadia was amazing! So fun, so interesting! She let us in know the fun facts you would only learn from a 6th generation Venetian! We had a great tour around town (skipping the crowded public stops) and on to a great grand canal tour via private water taxi! She did help us get fabulous family photos to forever remember our experience. Did I mention, she also treated us to a coffee and pastry, walked us right in to a local pizza joint that had a line out the door that we wanted to visit after our tour? Everyone around town knew Nadia, she is a local legend! She made our Venice trip!

A really lovely tour! We visited a lot of interesting places and discovered hiden details that a "common tourist" doesn't see. A lot of information about history, cuture and the origins of many common words like Ciao, taxi. Nadia is a really knowledgeable, human and passionate about things she talks about. I recommend her tours to everybody!

If you want to visit Venice, Nadia is the right person. It will make you discover, intrigue, have fun off the beaten track. Immersed in multiple pieces of information that will take you back in time. Nadia reveals and engages you with the secrets of a city explaining with anecdotes and unknown stories the origins of a language that still characterizes her dialect. Excitement and amazement in combining well-known and popular routes with lesser-known itineraries.

After the months spent at home due to look down, we decided for a short trip to the Venice lagoon with a friend who gave us a beautiful gift, a guided tour of Burano. In Burano we met Nadia Danesin , our meeting was cordial, from a few phrases exchanged Nadia immediately understood our curiosities and our needs. She showed us the less traveled places of the island sharing with us her favorite places. Thanks to her we have deepened the history of some islands of the lagoon that intertwine with the history of the great Venice. Of Burano, we glimpsed the part related to the sea (its men devote themselves mainly to fishing), and that related to the land (women invented lace that has spread throughout the world). Thanks to her we caught the welcoming spirit of the inhabitants who know and admire her, learned news not available from normal sources of information. Nadia is a person who loves her work, a passionate scholar of every aspect of her land and able to transmit her knowledge with simplicity and clarity. If you want to get deeply into the spirit of the places you visit, Nadia is the right person. Hello Nadia, thank you for your professionalism and Welcoming, we will see you soon.

Nadia who greeted us with a smile in Piazzale Roma and together we crossed the Calatrava Bridge to begin our tour. I've been to Venice many times, but never like this: Nadia was a great guide, she took us to hidden Venice, in the calle further on, away from the usual confusion and the usual scenarios I was used to. He intertwined the great historical events with the small daily curiosities of Venetian life, making the visit very interesting. I recommend contacting Nadia to anyone who wants to visit and get to know Venice, even if they think they already know it .. you never finish learning, especially so pleasantly!
