We had Roberta (Bobbie) as out tour guide and she was fantastic. Her knowledge and ability to relay it was unmatched by any other tour I can remember. I can unequivocally recommend this tour if the balance of the their guides are even 75% of what she was able to provide.

Our beautiful female guide with the curly hair did such a great job taking us through the buildings and explaining the history. Very knowledgeable. It was great. Highly recommended with a guide and skip the line. The gondola ride was icing on the cake. D.Boerup. Oct. 24

Our tour guide was amazing. She brought the history alive for us, and was so knowledgeable about the Palace and Cathedral. And of course, the gondola ride was incredible.

Great tour with Marco. He was informative and entertaining. We covered a lot of ground but it all felt manageable. The gondola ride was fun as well.

A very informative history tour. Tour guide Natalia was terrific. Speaks very good English. Was also able to include humor.

The tour was great, our tour guide was great. The only reason for not giving a 10 is that the gondola ride is really suited for 2 people but they put 4 in the boat. Two passengers don't get the comfy seat with their backs against the cushion. They are balancing on bench seats and not as comfortable, making it awkward for the 2 that took the actual seat as well as awkward for the other 2 in the 'less than' seating

The tour of the Doge Palace was incredible. Filipe was extremely knowledgeable. We really liked the way that he told stories with the history rather than just stating facts. The basilica was beautiful and again Filipe knew lots of details that we would never have known otherwise. The gondola ride was special, a once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

DRESS CODE: Entrance into any religious site requires a strict dress code. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. The Roman Guy will not be held responsible for refused entry due to unsuitable dress. • This is a walking tour with a small portion held on a gondola. • Please read our meeting point directions thoroughly in advance. It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 10 - 15 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded. • Mandatory: Everyone is required to carry a copy of the identification page of their passports on all tours. A photo of the first page of your passport saved on your smartphone works as well. • The tours involve a fair amount of walking and sometimes stairs and uneven terrain; comfortable shoes are always recommended. • Depending on the size of your group, headphones may be used for some tours. In this case, headphones will be provided. You may use your own earphones if you wish. • We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any walking impairments that require special assistance on our group tours. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours. • Some sites visited are not shaded and can be hot under the summer sun. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen and a bottle of water during the warmer months. • We will be subject to a security check at the entrance to all sites. Depending on the volume of visitors, we may have a short wait in the security line. • The museums, sites and monuments we visit on our tours are among the most popular in the world.
