Venice Unlocked: Doge's Palace & St. Mark's Exclusive Tour

Alessandro did an incredible job!!! We got lucky and had a totally private tour with just myself, my husband, and Alessandro. So we were pleasantly surprised! Alessandro is a native Venetian AND an educated historian, so his knowledge of St Mark’s, Doge’s Palace, and Venice as a whole is amazing. He made sure to point out all the details we would definitely miss if it weren’t for him. My jaw stayed open at the beauty and grandeur of these places. We are definitely planning another trip to Venice, and will absolutely book another tour with Alessandro!

Had an amazing tour with Alex as our guide. The Basilica was beyond description. It is absolutely unreal the amount of detail and work that went into it. It is absolutely essential to see the hallmark. Alex did a wonderful job of telling the history and significance of of all of the details.

The weather was perfect. The crowds were everywhere, but Alessandro brought us to both wonderful sites and we saw everything. His depth of knowledge of all the mosaics and the history and the length of time these beautiful representations of Venice have been here was remarkable. We had an awesome 5 hour day with Alessandro and would highly recommend him. Among other highlights of our walk, he was very informative especially thru San Marco Basilica and Doge's Palace in San Mark's square. It went so well we didn't even mind the rain we had. Towards the end, he recommended 2 places to grab a bite to eat and we tried them both after our tour was thru and they both we fantastic. Before we said goodbye, we stopped with him at this small place for a spritz before parting ways. If you want a walking tour thru Venice, he's the person to ask for!
