Murano is advertised as the main attraction. But, all you do in Murano is go from the boat into a glass factory and showroom. That is dazzling; but, there is nothing else to see in Murano. On the other hand, Burano is highly attractive. A big hit with tourists strolling through a very picturesque small town. I had to conclude that you need to emphasize Burano more in advertising this tour

We missed the boat because we were not aware we had to take a ferry with several stops to get to the meeting point. Better instructions on how to navigate the ferry area and what line to take to get to the meeting spot would be VERY helpful! They did tell us to take the 7 and we caught up to the group on Murano Island. The Demo was amazing especially the making of the horse! Didn’t get much time to shop in the gift shop (I think because we missed it earlier) but did get a few items! Burano was nice had free time to explore! Hint! You can but lots of Murano glass jewelry on Burano if you don’t have time on Murano. The lace makers presentation was awesome so much hard work goes into those! Great souvenir buying area!!

Fascinating to hear the history of the glass making and to watch a master glass artist create a beautiful piece of glass. Amazing to see all the various pieces for sale in the factory museum and store. Trip to Burano was also very enlightening to hear about the longevity of life of the women on the island and to see the lacework they.create.

Rachel, our guide was terrific. The tour was very informative. Both Murano and Burano were so worth the trip. Beautiful artistry.

Glass factory demonstration was good, guide was very difficult to hear over noise of machines. Headphones would have helped. Would like to see more of the production . Burano was nice.

Enjoyable boat ride through the outer islands. Burano Island is a lovely small town oriented around tourists but still pretty and worth seeing. Murano glass demonstration was the same as any one might have already seen but their showroom displays are truly phenomenal even though they of course would like you to make a purchase, but there was no sale pressure.

Great tour guide. However , we were cheated out of a silver chain at the Murano Factory. We bought an item and we were supposed to get a chain. We got a black string necklace. We did not discover this until my wife went to put the jewelry on back at our hotel. Buyer beware! Rest of the tour was excellent with a very meaningful visit to the Church of Santa Barbara.

A fantastic guide, Guido (I think) and great captain. My guide was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. An amazing glass blowing demonstration at Murano Island, followed by a visit to a lace shop in Burano Island, where we also had free time to take photos and grab lunch. I would highly recommend this tour. Just the perfect amount of time.

Boat trip much longer than expected, probably 2 hours in total. Murano glass demonstration was interesting and Burano was a nice, quieter escape from Venice.

We had a great time on this tour and a wonderful tour guide. He told us so much history about the islands. Highly recommend!
