The teaching staff was great and we enjoyed it a lot. The handling of getting us out of Florence was a big disaster! The meeting point that they chose is over a mile away from where the bus can pick up so you have to walk fast and when my wife and I get on the bus there are two seat that are not together. Top that on a bus with 45 people and NO Air Conditioning for 30 minutes was no party. I complained to our guide getting onto the bus and fortunately she called ahead to get us a car ride down the hill and some help with chairs during the lectures. A different driver but the same bus took us back to the same a dark corner on the outskirts of Florence where it is difficult to get a cab back into the city. Great instruction and experience but awful handling of the customers. Top it off I never got the recipes that the promised in 2 weeks and I have no to contact them to ask where they are.

We had a wonderful time with our hosts, Ado, Tiziano and Lodovik. They were fun, and they made the recipes easy to understand and use. We're looking forward to making our own Gelato. We were a little disappointed with the size of the group. The advertisement indicated a small group lesson, and there were over 30 people in our group. In addition there was a group that started prior to ours finishing and another group finishing as we arrived. The guys were running ragged. Though they did very well. The description of the physical location was also inadequate. There were three elderly women in our group who found the description of "a few steps" misleading. There are lots of steps. In addition, there was about a half mile walk from the meeting place to the bus which was not disclosed. Not a problem of us, but again difficult for the elderly who were not ready for it. They were very concerned to be left to fend for themselves at 10:00 pm on the return. We called a cab for them.

This was the highlight of my family‘s trip! 10 of us attended the pasta and gelato making course. From start to finish every detail was attended to. We had a beautiful day on a Tuscan farm, with beautiful views, knowledgeable chefs, and delicious food. We had an easy pick up in Florence and a 15 minute bus ride to the farm. We were treated like family and learned how to make three different types of pasta and gelato. Francesco, Chris, and Carmella were amazing and fun! They were wonderful teachers and worked well with the varying skill levels in our group. We had two young teenagers with us who also thoroughly enjoyed the day. The day had a perfect mix of learning how to cook, learning some Italian culture, sharing a beautiful meal and lots of laughs. Each of our other days in Florence were filled to the brim with museums and shopping and 20,000 steps per day. This was a welcome change to slow down, enjoy our family and meeting other people and to do what Italians do best …sharing a meal and some laughs. Do not miss this wonderful day. Thank you to Francesco, Chris and Carmela, from Francesca and Francesca and family.

Erika, Livio & David were fantastic hosts, chefs, and teachers! I can’t wait to receive the recipes.

Disappointing! This class was overbooked, very rushed and did not include “unlimited” wine, nor water. There were 30 people but only enough seats for 28—-2 young ladies were separated during the 1st session then me & my husband were separated to different tables for the pasta making. Not ideal especially when you’re paying $200 per person for the experience! Started the day with a 10-minute walk to a bus followed by a 10-minute bus ride to the farm. Once we got to the farmhouse the race was on…..when you weren’t kneading, rolling or cutting fast enough someone was there to rush you or actually take over to do it for you. When we tried to get water before the gelato we were ushered to sit down. When eating our meal, we had 2 bottles of wine for 10 people & no one around for water or wine refills. If you’re looking for a true Italian cooking experience this is NOT it! Find a smaller class so you can truly embrace the culture.

Amazingly well run, it was really clear that they had done this many times before and were very adept at teaching, timing our cooking sessions, and offering advice. Thank you so much to Livio, Chris, Lucia, and Francesco for being such great teachers. We had a phenomenal time, would recommend to anyone!

An excellent experience from start to delicious finish. Max, Arla, and Tiziaro were excellent and entertaining teachers. We were a family of 4, including 2 teen boys. There was another family with small kids and the rest of our class was couples and friends groups. We were all taken well care of. Highly recommend.
