Bari Old Town: Taste Authentic Street Food & Local Delights

I booked this tour through Viator. The map link took us to the meeting point but did not state the landmark where we needed to meet the guide, this caused some confusion. The landmark point should have been clearer in the conformation. However, we did meet Nicholas and he was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and willing to give us ideas for other things to see and eat during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time exploring the culinary delights of Bari. We had four tastings and each one was delicious and enormous. You do not need a big breakfast before taking this tour. We also had a good choice of drinks at 2 of the stops. The total tour took 3 hours. There were 8 people on the tour. Thank you Nicholas!

This tour is fantastic! Our guide Nicolas brought us to the best local food places in town, and had great stories to tell about the amazing history of Bari. My daughter and I had a great time, ate lovely foods and had a great laugh. I really recomment this tour and guide Nicolas. It made our trip to Bari quite complete!

Giuseppe was an excellent guide. In addition to providing us with delicious food to sample, he pointed out landmarks and historic locations. He also was informative about the history of the sights and the city. The size of the group was small (8 people).

We had an amazing experience on the Street Food Tour! Our guide, Giuseppe, was absolutely fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great energy. He shared so many interesting facts about the city, its history, and local traditions, making the walk through Bari even more enjoyable. The selection of locations was perfect and each stop offered a delicious taste of authentic Puglian cuisine. We especially appreciated how Giuseppe introduced us to food spots we would have never found on our own and explained the stories behind each dish. A perfect mix of culture, history, and great food. Highly recommended!

It was a great tour that combined some interesting history of Bari with information and stories about local food. Giuseppe, our guide, was very professional and easy going. The pace of walking and spacing between tasting were perfect. We tried fantastic Focaccia, delicious Panzerotti, and interesting octopus sandwich. The last stop was gelato across from castle. Guiseppe was an amazing guide! He was so knowledgeable, enaging and his passion for Bari was evident. The food tour was incredible, you did not leave hungry. Travelling solo, it was a great experience to meet other people. Overall 10/10
