Great walk through historic Florence with interesting stories of the Renaissance and the Medici family by our guide Chiara. Group size was about 15 people and walking tour lasted about 1.5 hrs. Audio earpieces were very clear and Chiara was quite knowledgeable, fluent, witty, and patient with the group. Great way to learn about the history while taking in the sights with a leisurely walk.

Michele was our guide for a 2 hour walking tour. He made the history so interesting, and was very entertaining. He walked at a comfortable pace and stopped often to give the story. He also gave great recommendations for the best gelato and restaurants. We went to a restaurant he recommended after the tour and had the most delicious meal of our trip so far. It was the best tour of our trip.

We did this tour on our first day in Florence. It was the perfect start to our holiday and a great way to see the city and get our bearings. Our guide Manuel was amazing sharing his enthusiasm for his city with stories, pictures and history presented with a personal touch. I saw so many tourist trudging around after a guide that looked bored to death. We walked the city with a friend who wanted to share what they love about their home, this meant we found gems that are not on the maps or in the guide books, places we could go back to and visit again, a snack from the street vendor he showed us, a fantastic lunch in a restaurant next to one of the stops on the way. Thank you Manuel for a magical experience!

Mikhal did a terrific job with the Medici tales, he presented clearly, took his time and allowed us to absorb the history. Highly recommend.

Chiara was the most charming tour guide, knowledgeable and full of fascinating stories that brought the buildings and statues we saw to life. I love a walking tour that focuses on the history through stories and this was exactly that.

Alessandro (I hope I remembered the name correctly) brought intimate details about buildings, food, wealth & history to life. Oh, and yes it’s all about the Medici’s when it comes to Florence. Humour, passion and knowledge in a uniquely affordable tour - make sure you take this tour!

This tour is fantastic and a 'must do' in Florence. My Wife & I did 4 pre booked tours including the Uffizi, Accedemia Gallery & the Cathedral, which were all good or OK, but this 2 hour walking tour was the best by a county mile! The guide, Glenda, was fantastic and the tour had really good structure, explaining the history of Florence pre, post and during the Renaissance period. Glenda gave us a flavour of how Florence began and then came to be the centre of the Renaissance. This context was missing from the other tours we did, but was beautifully explained by Glenda - well done. We really enjoyed this tour and the information set us up for all the other trips we did. This is highly recommended. Remember they earn the money from tips at the end of the tour, hence the booking fee is so low. Hope you enjoy this tour as much as we did?
