Private Bohol Adventure: Chocolate Hills & Loboc Cruise

With the loaded itinerary and long distances, we loved the sights and activities but felt rushed at each stop. The driver and tour guide did their best but we did feel the rush every where.

Was a long day trip from Cebu city however certainly worth the trip. Beautiful view and a fantastic time quad-biking through the hills. Worth visiting the observation center and Tasier preservation reserve right after.

Rio was a great guide with a wealth of information, thanks for stopping at the shops for us to get a jumper for the ferry ride home. Tarsier Sanctuary and the ATV ride was the highlight of the day. Couldn't believe at the end of the day we were given a basket of goodies, which keep us going on the rest of our trip to Cebu.

Was picked up at the hotel on time by Alex - taxi driver and dropped at the port. Alex was very prompt and honest and he was the one who picked me up on my return at the port in Cebu. My guide was very knowledgeable about Bohol. Professional and very attentive. Driver was very nice and professional too. The lunch/cruise was good and very nice even we started early which avoided the long line. Butterfly sanctuary was very limited and very small. The Phyton sanctuary was so so. Tarsier Sanctuary was interesting. The Tour itself was a little pricey since I was by myself.

This tour was everything i was expecting and more. I highly recommend the ATV around the Chocolate Hills. The tour guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable.

Rio Travel and Tour was definition of a professional tour company. I've used tour companies in Egypt, Thailand, Greece, Philippines and Central America and this company ranks with the best. I had a 6:00 am pick up at the hotel and they were in the lobby waiting for me when I arrived at 5:55. They got me to the ferry terminal early enough to catch an earlier ferry to Bohol. When I got to Bohol an hour earlier than scheduled, they had easy contact information to talk with someone to tell them that I was early and they had my guide, Jenny and my driver there within 10 minutes. Great customer service! I had a private tour and could adjust, within reason, the schedule. Nothing was ever rushed. The tarsier sanctuary was awesome. Rode an ATV for an hour at the Chocolate hills. Saw the Chocolate Hills. Did the Lombac river tour and buffet. (Try to get on boat #2. The female singer has an unbelievably great voice.) Also saw the largest snake in captivity in the Philippines (had my picture taken with her. You can get pictures with the snakes and they can make them magnets as well), and the Baclyon Church. The guides were native from Bohol so they could answer questions about the island. I saw everything that was promised and more. The pick up on the return was flawless. All of the vehicles looked new and in great shape. All had excellent A/C. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Some tips. Bring cash, in pesos. You can buy souvenir photos and magnets in some places. It is a long l, active day so get good rest before you go. A camera is a must. Bring extra batteries or a way to charge your phone. Also, remember to tip the guides. Overall, a spectacular day. I would definitely use Rio Travel and Tour again.

<p>Amazing!! My Guide Rio was a one of a kind! Bohol, Chocolate Hills and the Loboc River Cruise were breath taking. I was able to do the ATV one hour tour to get up close with breath taking views of the Chocolate Hills! The river cruise had great entertainment, views, and the food was very good. It was the perfect day and I couldn't have had a better experience thanks to Rio. He enlightened with me with so much history, very friendly and easy going, he let me make more stops along the way. Thank You! This a must see and do trip</p>

<p>What can I say...Rio my tour guide and Tatay our driver were simply the best. The smoothest most stress free tour I have ever taken in the PI. From the Tarsiers, Chocolate Hills. ATV ride, Butterfly House, Pythons, Tropical Birds, Riverboat Lunch Cruise, Blood Compact, the fruit trees and chocolate trees, and souvenirs...no tour has ever been so fun, informative, enjoyable, and complete. Rio is the smartest, most personable, and professional tour guide I have met in the PI so far. Tatay is the best, safest, and most skilled driver hands down. Exceptional experience. I would take this tour again just to hang out with them. Da best!</p>
