Absolutely fantastic experience. Amazing hiking through stunning beauty and nature, with unreal vistas, and beautiful boat ride through amazing gorge. We just made it into Germany before it got dark to see the Elbe river from top of gorge (nearly 200m up) and stunning Bastei bridge, well worth the extra 40 minutes each way. Our guide Sarka was superb, full of knowledge and chat, she really enhanced the experience so much

Early start but well worth getting up for. Beautiful walk up through trees, shrubs & wildlife. At the top was a house fit for a princess, well years ago and some of the best views you will see.After work up an appetite we were taken to a lovely traditional Czech pub serving some mouthwatering dishes. Then down to the river for a boat trip with its own secrets. On to some more spectacular views over the border in Germany which have to be seen to be believed. And last but not least we were blessed to have one of the most knowledgeable, witty, friendly & funniest tour guides I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. There was nothing that was too much trouble. Thank you Sherry for making this one of the best experiences I’ve had.

The scenery was Amazing the trip was a little harder than a moderate hike. I do not believe the boat ride was worth the stairs up and down. Our guide was new at her job so she and it showed. Then she took a group picture and said she would send but never did. So if you are in good shape you should definitely just dont go with Soska

Absolutely wonderful company to tour with. I originally booked a different tour to include Tisa Rocks; however, there were no other travelers who booked the same date. Petra reached out to me to work out a solution and offered this tour to me with the difference refunded. It worked out perfectly since I did not have to move around my other plans. I joined a smaller group with Filip as our guide. He was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the different sites we went to. We were able to pace ourselves to our liking and we reached some great viewpoints while the sun was still out. Overall, this was a great experience, especially as a solo traveler. Great communication to resolve the booking change, well-planned itinerary, and experienced guide who is easy to talk to. Highly recommend booking a day trip with them. Sidenote: the included lunch exceeded my expectations. Different options to choose from and very good! Not typical hiker food that you eat just for energy - it's actually really tasty! I had the pork schnitzel, but the other options looked delicious as well.

Fantastic day out and beautiful views. Very well organised trip and lovely lunch at a traditional restaurant. What made this such a great experience was our guide Sherry: she was very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. We laughed all day and she was exceptional.

Had a wonderful day with mirek our tour guide. Unbelievable views and some nice walks also a very nice food stop. Mirek was Very knowledgeable on our journey. Thankyou Bohemia adventures for a great day out.

Jules was an amazing tour guide, he made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. We got to learn so much of history and view the amazing scenery. Hugely recommend to do the trip. It’s definitely a highlight of our trip.

I participated in a mixed group and I enjoyed every minute! With our guide Filip we were able to gather many impressions (Prebischtor, Basteibrücke, Tisa) and to take lots of pictures. His knowledge seems almost endless - really impressive! His enthusiasm is contagious. Filip is also very attentive, supported everyone at his own pace. I think the whole group felt comfortable. Thanks to Petra as well for the organisation and the detailed information in advance! I cannot recommend the tour highly enough!

- For the Pravcicka Gate option, you need to be able to walk at least 5 km (3 miles) with an elevation gain of about 250 m (820 ft) over uneven terrain and some steps. This hike is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or health issues.

Greetings from Bohemian Switzerland national park, and the Bohemia Adventures team. Thank you for your reservation. Our professional guide will meet you between 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. in front of your accommodation at your Prague address. The return time is usually between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. but it may vary depending on the pace of the group, etc. One day before the tour we will email you an exact pickup time along with the weather forecast. Please, do not forget to take your passport (ID) with you as the trip to Germany is part of the tour. As you have booked a hiking option, we recommend wearing hiking boots or sports shoes suitable for uneven surfaces. An à la carte lunch and a snack pack with water are already included in your tour. If you have any dietary preferences such as vegetarian, or vegan meals, please let us know. You need no special equipment for the tour, only clothes comfortable for movement outdoors and a daypack may come in handy. We provide free walking poles, raincoats, etc for you to borrow. If you choose the EASY OPTION, instead of the hike to the Pravcicka Gate, you will have extra time for self-guided exploration of the picturesque village of Hrensko (the center of the national park). It is necessary to remember that steep stairs are located at several parts of the trail on the way to reach the boat ride and the same on the way back. Therefore we do not recommend taking this tour in case you are healing from any injuries with your ankle, leg, knee, etc. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding this. Our guide can advise you during the drive to the national park to decide whether the Boat ride or the Pravcicka gate hike (longer in distance but not so steep) is better for you. Besides the aforementioned stairs, the rest of the tour around Bastei Bridge goes along rather flat and very well-maintained trails, and they're easy to walk on. Enjoy your tour!
