Paris Seine Cruise: Iconic Landmarks & Enchanting Narration

We took the 6:00pm (18:00) Seine river tour. Weather was awful, rainy and windy.The boat was packed, but we were able to get seats under cover. It was great to see Paris after dark! When the boat was making its last turn back to the dock near the Eiffel Tower we braved the rain and wind and went onto the top deck to get our last views. At 7:00pm we were able to witness the Eiffel Tower light show. Spectacular!!! You have to do this once in your lifetime.

The boat ride was nice and we’re glad we had this experience. We were told to scan a QR code to get information on the sites the boat was passing by. You either read about each site, in which case you miss seeing the site or you listen to your phone, although we didn’t know to bring earphones as the top deck of the boat doesn’t provide them. There was commentary over a loud speaker as we moved along the river but it was hard to hear and the information from the QR code website did not seem to follow the audio commentary from the boat.

Enjoyable experience, very relaxing. We had a good dry day for the sightseeing cruise, we arrived for the first time slot at 10.00 you don't need to book just turn up. We pre booked our tickets before visiting Paris from the website and was seamless when we arrived. We sat on the upper open deck and had audio commentary through our headphone app but didn't really need it as we could hear the commentary from the lower deck. Commentary initally is in French and then it is repeated in English and Spanish each time. Overall a great way to see the sights of Paris from the Seine.

Awesome at dark! You get to see a lot of the city highlights. And if you go on the hour, you’ll see the Eiffel tower sparkle!

A not to miss paris experience. We loved it so much that we returned to the cruise more than once. Really enjoyed the boats and actually preferred sitting at the lower level and not the upper boat deck

Really enjoyable to see all the sights and quite picturesque . It got a little cold - so be sure to wear layers !

We left around 5.45pm which was an excellent time at this time of year (Oct) to capture the sights and then return to see the tower illuminated and flashing in the dark. We got great photos. Wear warm clothes if you’re sitting atop as it’s chilly. It’s warm down below. Boat was full and there was commentary in English and several other languages which was good. We did have to queue to get on. If you want a space stop get to the front of the queue.

This is enjoyable and relaxing and some great views of famous monuments. There was audio in a number of languages -- I'm not a huge fan of the same thing being repeated over and over in each language - but in this case we couldn't hear it at all - we were on the upper deck and it just wasn't audible - apparently it was clear if you were inside. There is a QR code to download audio, but it is a map that will alert you when passing things and you can play some facts. It was okay, but not quite what I expected. We did have a nice location until one family decided to use it for photograpghs and blocked our view on almost every monument - not taking a photo and moving back, literally taking multiple poses and they could see us trying to get photos too - really, really rude - and started to seem deliberate when it was repeated at every point.

Such a peaceful ride and ending to our time in Paris. We went right after sunset which was nice before dinner. Best view is the top of the boat for sure. We were fine with a windbreaker jacket.

It’s a big crowded boat with very limited commentary. You’re supposed to be able to download an audio guide on your device, but that never worked for us. My biggest issue is with the Viator app for this booking. I couldn’t access my tickets - it was just this endless loop of the app telling me to use the confirmation email to get the tickets, which took me back to the Viator app, which then said to go back to my email. Really frustrating. I had to go to the counter with a confirmation number to get the tickets.
