Sabah's Secret Seas: Unforgettable KK Island Snorkel Day Trip

We had such a fabulous day out. We saw so much underwater wildlife - and often it was Amir who pointed it out to us. We had 3 different sessions in 3 different places so experienced the variety of the reef. Amir was professional and knowledgeable and also fun company. I would totally recommend this trip. (I would also recommend wearing long sleeves and leggings if you have them as we did get a little burnt but it was totally our fault.)

The tour guides were super friendly and nice, we also got to see amazing sceneries and sea creatures which was definitely worth every penny

We had such an incredible day out on our guided snorkeling tour with Alex! It ended up being just the two of us, which made it feel like a private adventure. Alex was an amazing guide — funny, friendly, and really looked after us from start to finish. He clearly knows the reefs inside out and even has this awesome skill of blowing perfect air bubble rings underwater to point out where hidden sea life was — such a cool touch! We were lucky enough to see stingrays gliding across the sand and even swam alongside a turtle, which was definitely the highlight of the day. Alex also took fantastic photos for us throughout the trip, capturing all the best moments so we could just relax and enjoy. Couldn’t recommend this experience more — it was one of the best days of our trip to Kota Kinabalu. Thanks again, Alex, for an unforgettable day!

Great trip with nice guides and nice equipment. Fantastic views of fish, starfish, stingray, seaturtle and corals. A little prior experience with snorkling is recommended since all dives are performed from the boat. We brought our two girls (9 and 13 years old) that had only practiced snorkeling a little in pools before and they were fine. Absolutely recommended!

The staff Alex and Crystal were both excellent. Small group of 7 which was well organised. Other tour companies leaving the jetty at the same time had much greater numbers and look chaotic. Water was silty and much of the reef is dead. That is no the fault of the company. A good day out. A drink and small desert at lunch would have been appropriate but this was not offered. (Just a 1 course option).

We booked a private snorkeling trip. Didi and the captain took us to some fabulous snorkeling spots that were not crowded. He made sure to point out all of the must see items. I would definitely book a trip with this company again.

Guide Didi and the Captain accompanied us on a private snorkelling tour and did an outstanding job, taking us safely to two beautiful snorkelling spots where Didi pointed out the different fish, corals, blue starfish, two types of turtles and dived down with our camera to make close up beautiful pictures of what we saw and photos of us snorkelling. We would totally recommend them and the private tour, it felt like we had the waters of the park to ourselves!

Alex and Edwin were very attuned and attentive to the needs of the passengers on board the ferry. As I was a beginner to snorkelling, Alex was patient and would be near where I was. He would also direct us to different corals or fishes so we can capture shots of those using the GoPro we rented. Kudos to the team! 🤗 would recommend it to anyone who would like to snorkel in Kota Kinabalu

Excellent all day trip with lunch. Snorkeled three spots, guides were professional, gear was high quality, and had a great time. Guides pointed out wildlife and provided information. They were accommodating for those that didn't want to stay out as long as others. Would definitely recommend! Can't remember his name exactly, maybe Aton?, he was great!
