We had a fantastic safari. We paid to also have a guide and it was worth every penny. We saw loads of animals we would never have known otherwise and we got to ask loads of questions about animals we'd already seen on our trip. Fantastic experience. We even saw baby elephants. Thank you!

We had a safari from 2pm - 6pm. It was a great experience. Nice driver! Show us very much elephants and give us more information about it. The jeep is also waterproof in rainy times, no ponchos needed.

I went on the 6 hour tour of the park starting at 11am. Over the course of the tour we saw well over a dozen elephants, buffalo, lizards, deer and various birds. My guide was extremely informative, friendly and did everything to make it a great day. 10/10 recommend going on the 6 hour tour as there’s lots to see and 6 hours felt like the right amount of time to take it all in.

We arrived in Udawalawe at 13:45 and went straught to Wild Safar Tours where we hoped to still catch the afternoon safari. Before we knew it we were in the back of a jeep heading to the park. Our guide Pasindu told us he would rush a bit to get to the open part of the park as he knew that would give us the best chance to see the elephants because rain was coming our way. As soon as we arrived there we spotted several groups and during the tour we must have seen 30 elephants and other wildlive. It was an amazing experience because of the knowledge and driving skills of Pasindu. We would highly reccomend this tour.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this private safari tour. We had an amazing experience! Started at 9 am (which is considered a bit late) so we didn’t expect to see many animals but we were pleasantly surprised. We saw massive crocodiles, a few elephants from really up close, just a couple of metres away, and without any crowds around them. Our guide was very experienced, spoke good English and was super kind and patient with us whenever we wanted to stop or take our time with the elephants 🐘 ❤️

We had a very good excursion. We saw everything we wanted (lots of elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, peacocks, etc.). Thank you very much! recommend 100% ! it is better than Koggala boat tour :)

We had an incredible day safari with Gimhana, who made the whole experience smooth, exciting, and truly memorable. From the start, he was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced — an excellent driver who was both safe and reliable, while still managing to get us right where the action was. Thanks to his sharp eye and deep knowledge of the park, we saw an amazing variety of wildlife — elephants (including a tiny 6-month-old baby!), monkeys, crocodiles, painted storks, a jackal, water buffalo, and even a turtle. Every sighting felt special, and he made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy and take photos. For a small extra fee, Gimhana also prepared lunch for us, which turned out to be a real highlight of the day. He brought tables and chairs, set everything up in a peaceful, shaded spot away from the crowds, and made it feel like our own private picnic in the wild. Overall, the day couldn’t have been better. If you’re planning a safari, ask for Gimhana — he’s an excellent guide, a great cook, and will make sure you get the very best out of your adventure!

Absolutely BRILLIANT. So helpful - we booked the wrong date, by a week!! They answered the phone at 04:00am and kindly organised to pick us up later that morning. Very safe driver to the safari park and then found animal after animal. Families of elephants, including a 4 month old. Then we went to an elephant orphanage - must have been 60+ elephants. A fantastic day. Very kind, understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you 🙏
