We had so much fun on this tour! It was the perfect mix: overview of the city, food, up close insights to daily life well as walked through the residential alleys. Our guide Hannah was wonderful; super informative, fun and patient with our many questions. Our driver C was amazing through the organized chaos that is Hanoi’s traffic! They timed our stop at train street perfectly at the end of the tour. I’ll admit that when I first saw the jeep tours on line I wondered if it was a bit gimmicky, but the open jeep allowed you to experience the sounds and smells. A great afternoon!

This was a fabulous way to experience multiple Hanoi neighborhoods. Our guide, Hannah, was amazing providing both high level and intimate details about the city and Vietnam in general. Transport is via open air, army surplus jeeps which were comfortable and allowed a more visceral experience of the sites and smells of the city. Our driver, C, expertly navigated us thru areas we all swore the jeep wouldn’t fit! Highly highly recommend this experience!!

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Ria. She was entertaining and enthusiastic in showing us the delights of Hanoi. The driver was also fantastic in keeping us safe getting between sights. Finished with a delicious meal at hidden Gem Cafe with our new friends from Taiwan. Would definitely recommend to any visitors to Hanoi.

Wonderfully entertaining tour. Our guide Baki was very informative and amusing. Driver Mr L did an amazing job navigating through the narrow and congested streets of the Old Quarter. The starting point at Hidden Gem is just that - funky decor and cool vibe with tasty food. Would recommend this tour, and Baki, to anyone wanting an authentic experience of Hanoi.

Sim and Johnny were absolutely amazing as our tour guides from Wide eyed tours. The use of the Jeep to travel through Hanoi was an experience in its self with the ability to experience Hanoi to its full potential. We learnt so much about the history and culture about Vietnam from Sim that was so valuable. Lunch at Hidden Gem Cafe was Devine. Thank you Sim and Johnny , we loved our experience thoroughly.
