Dachau: An Unforgettable Journey of Remembrance from Munich

Alun is a superb tour guide who not only "deeply knows his stuff" but also capably manages a group with gracious hospitality and attention to trip details and logistics. He is very gifted teacher who ably conveys detailed historical information to a diverse audience in a highly engaging manner. You get the sense that he truly cares and thinks deeply about what he says, and is naturally curious about how others think about what happened at Dachau. The weather on the day we visited the Dachau site was quite miserable—cold, rainy and windy. Nevertheless, Alun was at ease and kept everyone in the group connected, informed and, in the end, very highly satisified.

This tour with Alun was the best we have ever had! Alun was extremely knowledgeable and took us to life & times oh the unfortunate people imprisoned in Dachau. Alun allowed us ample time to look at everything and answered all questions. You will not be disappointed!

We had the best tour with Alun! Right from the start of the tour he gave such clear instructions and indications of everything we would do, so much knowledge and sensitivity—we felt totally at ease and in great hands. He was so thoughtful and attentive both to us and also of the people around us, whether on the train or at the site. Having a small group also allowed us to have more personal interaction—we could ask questions, and he provided information to help drive home the meaning and importance of the experience more than we would have done if exploring on our own.
