A “must see” for everyone to help us understand what really went on in the camps. The memorial site is very informative and respectful; lots of information and several structures still intact. Radius Tours and Jake, our guide, were excellent!

Outstanding tour. Our guide, Lucia, was very knowledgeable regarding the history and impact of Dachau. Obviously, this is a sobering and difficult time in history to review, but she handled it well with a focus on honoring the victims and ensuring that they and the truth are not forgotten. The tour itself was well organized and run...as were the other Radius tours we did. We would highly recommend this tour for people who are interested in learning and reflecting on a dark time in history..

Emmet, our guide was very knowledgable and kept a sobering and heavy subject on the lighter side. He went beyond his duty as a guide and made sure we found our bus back to our hotel.

A very thought provoking and informative tour lead by Jeff. It was well organised and worth a visit. Well worth the money for the knowledge you gain.

Easy, short commute. 5 star experience. Metz was very professional, patient, and generous with explanations.

Difficult subject matter handled with sensitivity by our guide Connie. Her vast knowledge of Dachau and specialisation in this site meant she could provide background and content as well as answer a range of questions from the group. The pace of the tour was well balanced so that there were not long periods of time standing still, she incorporated information sharing with walking and free movement which suited us well.

Our guide from Radius Tours was Franz. He was great! He explained clearly the format of the day before taking us to the station to catch the train. He explained things really clearly and gave lots of background info and history as well as some kind of insight into what day to day life was likely like for different categories of men sent to Dachau. He explained the 'whys' to give a context of how things ended up as they did and was able to give comparisons of Dachau with other sites some of the group hae visited previously. He was able to answer all questions posed. It was a chilly and windy day and Franz gave us a lot of the talk about life at Dachau whilst inside the shelter of one of the buildings before taking us around the whole site to see the other areas. It was very moving. We finished in the museum where Franz highlighted several key exhibits. We had a little time to look at other things in the museum before meeting to travel back. I think if I had read every single display in the museum, I would not have had such a good insight into the realities of Dachau. Franz just made it all very interesting and accessible. I would highly recommend this tour. I was travelling with my 15 year old son who is studying GCSE history and he found it very interesting too.

Our concentration camp tour was an incredibly powerful and moving experience. Our guide, Jeff, was outstanding—comical when appropriate and serious when needed. His passion and deep knowledge brought meaningful context to such a heavy part of history. It was a larger group and the weather was cold and windy, but Jeff kept everyone engaged and respectful throughout. A difficult but very worthwhile experience that we’ll never forget.
