Unlock Cairo's Soul: Private Sacred Sites & Souk Tour

We went on a great tour of Cairo that included the Coptic Christian area of old Cairo and the largest mosque in Cairo. All of it was wonderful, largely due to our excellent tour guide, Doaa. She did an awesome job showing us the sites, explaining everything, and answering our questions. We learned so much! The oldest Christian in Africa was really cool to see. And the mosque was really beautiful. The mosque is a historic site and we were not required to wear any special clothes, we just had to remove our shoes or pay for little booties to wear over our shoes. The market was also on the tour, but we had already been there and were a bit nervous about the traffic possibly making us late for our flight, so we chose not to go to the market. Doaa told us that they would have dropped us at the airport if we had brought along our luggage. Good to know! We were required to pay for parking at the mosque, which we didn’t know ahead of time. It was a tiny amount and should have been covered by the money we paid for the tour as well as the cost of the shoe covers for entering the mosque. The tour was still worth it, but it’s not good to surprise customers with additional fees.

Ahmed was very interesting and gave us a history lesson of every where we visited. Everything was very smooth and was a great way to see some more of Cairo before we left for the next leg of our trip. We only booked the afternoon before as we had some time before our flight, but all was good.

An amazing day of history and site seeing and shopping. It’s a must do for Old Cairo. And our guide Kareem and driver Muhammad were excellent!

Ahmed a Great guy who explains history very well, took care of us from hustlers and also brought us to a great place for lunch at I will recommend to anyone who wish for a good tour guide

Our tour guide Ahmed was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable, patient and full of passion for his country’s rich history. His knowledge on mosques and tombs stories were in depth. Our driver Hany drove us around safely. Truly a memorable experience.

We had an amazing time with Ahmed and Hany. Ahmed is very knowledgeable and explained the history of the places. He and Hany were super accommodating to our requests and brought us for lunch which was not in the tour. Our tour overran by 1.5hrs! Their hospitality is commendable.

We had an excellent day. I can only recommend this organization. We discovered the old Cairo, Islamic mosque, Coptic churches, and even the Synagogue. The guide adapted the visit to our interest. Thank you very much 🙏
