Unforgettable Taroko Gorge Private Tour: Hualien's 1-Day Escape

We had a great experience with Sam on our private Taroko Gorge tour. Sam was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our trip to Hualien was enjoyable. Taroko Gorge is amazing and well worth the visit. I definitely recommend this tour and would do it again. Thanks Sam!

A thoroughly enjoyable day of sightseeing and culture with our tour guide Alex! We visited a number of sights throughout the day with Alex providing information and commentary on everything we saw! He also advised on some itinerary changes that might be suitable due to some poor weather. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of Xiao Long Bao that was some of the best we’ve had in Taiwan! Overall a wonderful day and very well priced tour with a great guide! Alex also took some wonderful photos for us!!

Disappointed that Taroko gorge closed but guide Vincent ensured I had an interesting day touring the east coast

Alex is a great guide, positive, knowledgable, friendly and very supportive. He is also a very good driver and knows evwry corner of Taiwan. Ww had great two days woth Alex.

We had a great time with Jimmy on our day trip to Taroko Gorge! He was super kind, knowledgeable, and most importantly flexible and responsive to our needs as we had young kids in our group. We weren’t sure what to expect with Taroko NP only partially open but it was very impressive. We also appreciated how Jimmy went out of his way to make sure we tried local foods and had a good experience. Very highly recommend!

Perhaps one of the most knowledgeable guides I've had anywhere, Vincent has a deep understanding of the geologic, hydrologic, and anthropologic histories of the area. Taroko itself is still recovering from an earthquake [April 2024], and although this limits accessible sights, it also means it's less crowded.

Highlight of our Taiwan trip - the scenery is a absolutely beautiful! While some tracks are closed from the earthquake in the previous year, it was still great to see the gorge and support the local community as part of rebuilding the tracks. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent tour! Jimmy was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. He took some excellent photos for us. We learned a lot and were to enjoy some incredible once in a lifetime views. His recommendations for food and snacks were the perfect compliment to an amazing tour. 10/10 would recommend!

While it might be a little more expensive than others, the tour was very personalised. Our guide Vincent was very familiar with the National Park as he used to work there. So we got a lot of first hand information. Vincent was awesome, the day was well planned and delivered, and communication was excellent.
