Well worth the cost. Best way to get acquainted with any city. We rode the whole loop. Then decided where we wanted to get off. The guides were all very good, wish I recalled their names. As an fyi.....you have to go to stop one when you first get on bus. This was near the Liberty Bell/ Liberty Hall. Tickets have to be scanned. Lucky for us that walk was not too far and there was a stop at the end of the day right across from our hotel. Due to govt shutdown, Liberty Bell can only be viewed through the glass . Some other government bldgs were closed as well. Oh well.

We enjoyed our 1-day bus tour through Philly. Great weather, so sitting up top, in the open, was lovely. Hopped off for a pic of the Rocky Statue at the Museum of Art, then again along Pine Street. From there we walked several blocks south to the Italian area on 9th Street. Yummy lunch....some shopping....back to Pine Street to catch the next bus. By chance the same driver was manning the wheel and greeted us warmly. If you haven't visited the Reading Terminal Market (a stop on the route) hope off for a fun hour+ for a bit of shopping and trying different foods.

Great way to get the lay of the land. Goes past all the major sites. The guides were knowledgable and offered interesting commentary. The stops were convenient. Works for making multiple stops or you can stay on and take the complete route and return later to sites of interest. Double decker steps might be difficult for some to manage.

Good value and informative. Get on and off as much as you’d like. Goes by all the major city sites. It’s great

We found this bus tour of Philadelphia very informative and interesting. The tour guide was full of fascinating stories and was easily heard throughout the 1 3/4 hour tour. It is a great way to get an overview of what sights you might want to spend time touring on foot.

It was confusing to get on and was directed to a couple stops but once on board was a great day! I would do this again

The signs designating pick up location are not very visible. I would be helpful if the site gave a detailed location of stops

Great way to start your visit to Philadelphia with a overview of potential opportunities and sights to explore later Worth the time and money to take this tour

Really enjoyed this tour. Informative and interesting. Was great to do this on our first day to get our bearings in the city and figure out what we wanted to see on the rest of our trip.

I would not recommend this tour unless you don’t mind waiting 45 minutes for the next bus. Maybe it’s the time we went, not sure if early October is low season, but we saw more buses parked as advertisements then out and about picking up customers. Even with the shared rides between this and the other sightseeing bus, waits were over 30 minutes. At one point we called after waiting 45 minutes and were told the stop we were at wasn’t taking pickups because of a detour. Live tracking wasn’t working so how would we know and as observation, lots of traffic was flowing on the specific stop street. Also, when we passed that stop again, they were picking up. In hindsight, I would have walked to what we could and ubered for the remaining.
