Unveil Fort Kochi's Soul: Private Tuk Tuk Half-Day Tour

Nava was our local guide . He was well aware of the history. Took us to interesting places and also suggested us good to places to shop spices and some handicrafts. He was kind enough to accommodate our wandering off to buy postcards, stamps and some curiosities around the town. He could decently speak Tamil and Malayalam, English could have been better. It was a pleasant ride around Ford Kochi visiting various places and curious streets of the old town. Nava even suggested a good place for lunch after our half - day tuk tuk tour. Overall a fun experience 👍🏼

I did this trip on 11 October with Saleem and it was excellent! I had already done another very good tour with a different tuk tuk driver the day before so Saleem did a great job of making sure I didn’t see the same thing twice by adapting the tour to do something different. We had an amazing trip through the narrow back streets of Fort Kochi and I learnt a huge amount in such a short time (including some of the incredible initiatives that the Kerala government is funding to eliminate homeless and so much info about local communities and businesses. Saleem has excellent English and while he said to me he’s not a walking encyclopedia he sure does know his stuff and he’s a lovely man to travel around with for a few hours. Also, you can talk to him about what you are interested in and he will come up with a tour programme that specifically meets your interests If you book this trip, I recommend asking for Saleem and then making sure he shows you the Fort Kochi back streets (the “heart golf Fort Kochi”) and the best Samosa shop in town. This was definitely the best Samosa I’ve had in India! Thank you for your kindness and welcoming friendship Saleem, this was such an amazing way to spend my last day in India before I travelled home.

A great way to see Fort Kochi, taking us to historical landmarks, scenic areas, and shopping spots. Our driver Salim was friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the history of the area and taking us to places we wouldn't have found on our own, including a kathakali theatre. He even took us to a great biryani place when I realised I was hungry part way through the tour! Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful experience with our Auto Wale Chetta Samad. We really love the company and he is very polite and understanding chetta.

The Tuk Tuk tour is so nice in Kerala because there isnt so much polution and mosquitoes, traffic is relatively calm compared to other indian cities, our Tuk Tuk driver was really nice and we did everything at our own pace. I was reluctant to do a Tuk tuk tour before because of the heat and traffic but it really was fun and i would for sure do it again.

I had a great tour with Sina. We started early to beat the heat and he was ready and waiting at my home stay ahead of time. As a Kochi local, Sina had great knowledge of the sites we visited. He always made sure I had as much time as I wanted at each stop and was very personable. He was a great driver, I even booked him to take me to the train station when I left Kochi.

Had a lovely tour this morning around all the sites in Fort Kochi/Kochi. Our driver, Navas, was excellent. He picked us up from our hotel ahead of time and explained everything as we went along. He provided bottled water. The weather was extremely hot and travelling by tuk tuk is so nice and airy. I would highly recommend this tour and I would ask for Navas

We had a wonderful time touring Fort Kochi in Shameer's tuktuk. He was at the pickup point 30 minutes before the scheduled time and welcomed us and gave us very good explanations of the history and significance of each spot we visited. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and knows how to keep the conversation going. He gets a 5 star for being an excellent driver and a guide.
