The downhill parts were loads of fun as well as taking in all of the breath taking scenery. The lunch provided was amazing. All the townsfolk children were so friendly when we were riding through their town.

Fantastic way to travel way from Da Lat to Mui Ne! Ling & Cuong were professional, friendly and fluent in English. The bikes were high end, the lunch was big and tasty, Ling told us about the local areas & people, we got as much drinking water as we wanted, fun down hill cycling and overall a great experience. Couldn’t be happier!

Enjoyable cycle ride along a quiet mountain road through the Vietnamese countryside with a nice lunch stop at a locals roadside cafe halfway. We were collected at our hotel in Da Lat with all our luggage, transported in a vehicle to the start of the country road by two guys who were informative and enthusiastic, then driven to our hotel in Mui Ne after the cycling. Good way to transfer between locations, get some exercise and take in the countryside.

Firts we did a two day, one night hike in the jungle + a stay on the campsite Nam Qua. 6 hours of hiking around the lake through pine woods as well as jungle, with some nice challenges in between, when you need to cross water. Setting up your tent, making a fire and sleeping on the shore of the lake is great. In the morning doen kayaking and a light walk back. The day after we booked a cycling tip from Dalat to Mui Ne (instead of our already initial transfer by minibus). What a wise decision. Great cycling (climbing, downhill and flat), great views, good lunch and most import high quality bikes, helmet and gloves. And always the supporting van following, so people can easily decide to stop and step in de van, which makes it a great adventure. Both trips we were accompanied by our tourguide Hoang Viet Linh. Proving great info about the environment, speaking English very well and taking care of safety.

What a fabulous experience this trip was. Communication was easy over WhatsApp and our guide Linhde picked us up punctually at 7.30. It was quite a drive to get out of town to where we would meet our bikes but Lindh was chatty and gave us lots of information. We were a group of 4. The bikes were what we call In Australia Gravel bikes. They had smooth tyres and were really well maintained. Fully geared, disc brakes and front suspension. I was a little concerned about how I would go riding 70km in the heat but there really is lots and lots of downhill. It was an amazing ride with hardly any traffic at all and fantastic views. It bucketed with rain at one stage but that kind of added to the adventure and kept us cool. Lunch was delicious. We were exhausted and muddy by the end of the day but it really was a great day. Highly recommended and I’m so glad we did it. Linhde was a great guide and very safety conscious . He rode with us and we also had two vehicles following us so you feel very well looked after.

Thoroughly recommended company. We actually booked 2 bike trips with Phat Tires. The first was a day tour of Dalat with Linh. Biked to a flower farm, coffee plantation, cricket farm, rice wine making place, an impressive Buddha statue and a silk factory. So good being on a bike in the countryside, and Linh’s fluency in English, personality and sharing of Vietnamese culture a highlight. The 2nd day was the bike ride to Mui Ne. Once again in good hands with Linh, beautiful jungle scenery, quiet roads, a good local spot for lunch. Oh, and also a ‘spot’ of rain, but that’s all part of it! Thank you Phat Tires, we’ll be back.

We had a very nice bike tour with Vinh from Da Lat to Mui Ne. Actually, the tour starts close to Di Linh and ends some kilometers before Mui Ne. In total the covered distance was about 70km, with a lunch stop at approx. 30km. The road is not very busy, but in a very good condition for biking. The provided bikes were in good shape, too. To fit the right frame size we were asked for our heights beforehand. That worked out well. Vinh was always concerned that we drink enough on the tour. The tour organization was really good. The accompanying car waited at some stops and had us refill our bottles and provided some fruit. The driver was quick in fixing a flat tire - it took only 2 minutes and we were on the road again :) At the end we were awaited with some cold towels, watermelon slices and cooled drinks. The track is only difficult in the beginning and is then mainly downhill with some very short uphill passages. The last 15km were quite hot and mostly in direct sun. Therefore it's important to drink enough. All in all, we had a very nice bike tour and can recommend to go with Phat Tire Ventures.

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved our journey with Phat Tire adventures. We did the one day 75km trip down from Da Lat to Mui Ne, and it’s so much fun if not for the faint of heart! I have never used a road bike in my life and in all honesty I didn’t think I was going to be able to complete the trip. It’s super fun and quite tough at times so I would definitely recommend it if you want to do something exciting and extraordinary on your holiday. The landscapes you pass are stunning and the roads are quiet. We loved visiting the village and the much-needed packed lunch and yummy iced coffee! There is a van you can jump in if you get too tired but we managed to make it to the end without using it! I was very proud of myself, but really it was all thanks to our wonderful guide, Linh, who let us go at our own pace and stop for water as much as we needed. He was full of interesting information about the people, wildlife and landscape of the area and I cannot thank him, and the driver, enough! I think we might have been a bit slower than average on the way up but we went pretty fast on the way down (I might have gone too fast at times!) so we made up any time lost. The guys dropped us off at our hostel afterwards and even called me later as I’d left some biscuits behind in the van. They were really kind and thoughtful and it was one of our favourite parts of the holiday. Thank you so much!!! Bella & Will
