Was a very emotional experience. I found everyone to be respectful as it should be. The tour was very well organised and our group kept to the times which made for a smooth day. Definitely need a packed lunch to eat in between camps which is not long. I struggled with the tour guides English at times ( his pronunciations) but did not take away from the experience

We booked the tour through TripAdvisor, as a returning customer. Our original booking time changed but this was not an issue as we were advised two days in advance. The pickup was easy and we were advised of the tour itinerary en route. The actual tour of the two camps was conducted by an excellent and knowledgeable guide. She was both informative and sensitive and made the experience of the visit one of reflection.

Our guide was fantastic; he was very knowledgeable and although it must be hard for him to speak about the horrid things that happened there, he was professional and answered any questions the group had. Being at Auschwitz was surreal and emotional, but I would definitely recommend going to see it for yourself. Our transfer driver was also amazing. Picked us up on time from our hotel and gave us clear instructions on what was going to happen that day and where to meet etc. We were also offered to order a packed lunch (which came to approx £10 each) and there was a lot in it, so it is worth doing that as you don’t get a long break between the too camps. Overall Hello Cracow was an amazing service for us. We also booked transfers between the airport and hotel with them.

The guide on the van & guide at the museum were both outstanding & the visit enjoyable as it could be considering the horror perpetuated there.

This was an important visit to try to understand the unbelievable suffering that these poor people went through. This was a full afternoon/ evening visit. With a smooth pick up and meeting our excellent driver and guide, Michael. It took an hour and a half to get to Auschwitz. The visit was very informative and at the right pace . There were a lot of people in different groups, following each other so you couldn’t lag behind. After a 15 minute break we traveled the short distance to Birkenau. There was a lot of walking and as the sun went down and it started to get colder it really hammered home the absolute suffering and hardship it took to try to survive. A very thought provoking experience

Communication and pick up times are outstanding. Tour guide Charles : very informative and knowledgeable. Our only point to make would be that at Berkinau: we did not have headsets and guide would start talking before all of the group were present meaning those less mobile didn’t hear all he said if anything at all.

Sounds odd to refer to this experience as enjoyable, as it was an eye opening and slightly harrowing experience, but both of us did find tour, and the place, deeply interesting. Many of us know the history of Auschwitz from school but seeing it in person, seeing some of the leftovers, and hearing the stories from the guides put it in to a whole new perspective. This should be a must visit for anyone. Definitely recommend the guided tour as opposed to going yourself, as both places are big, and so knowing what to see, and where to go is difficult. The guide also explained many things that we likely would have missed otherwise.
