Auschwitz-Birkenau: Profound Guided Memorial Tour from Krakow

We were picked up promptly from our hotel at the designated time of 6:45am We had a very informative guide who took about 10 of us us around at a good pace. We ordered a packed lunch which was very nice and I thought worth the money .

Very nice place and good service and staff is better response. Food is so good and room is so clean and safe. Service is so good . Next time I will go there

Excellent trip, well organised with small comfortable mini bus. We left early to avoid huge queues which was much better as we then had the afternoon free and the museum was quieter. Our tour guide had 16 years of experience and was a local lady. She was very passionate and there was nothing she didn’t know. Very moving tour, one that we will never forget.

Great communication from our driver Lukas. Lunch bag provided was good value for money. Very streamlined, no waiting about. Our guide was very passionate and told us extra information about survivors he had met. A very sobering experience. Because of how busy it was we missed going in one of the blocks but that was understandable.

This tour was so well organised. Let’s go from the start…a WhatsApp message the day before from Daniel to advise on our pick up time from hotel (7:15am) with an offer of lunch for 120 PLN (which we accepted) and it was great and very welcome on the way to our second part of our trip to Birkenau- so a big tip would be to order the lunch! Picked up promptly with 2 other couples in a lovely van. The tour itself by our guided tour was first class and as you’d expect very, very impactful. Tour size was 20 which was fine. We all had speakers so could hear our guide even if we couldn’t see him. Auschwitz has many of its buildings acting as a museum with lots of items that were on show and again made a huge impact on the tour group. This part took approx 2 hours. It took less than 10 minutes to travel to Birkenau and this was mostly an outdoor tour for an hour and again was very insightful-my tip is to go with this company, wrap up warm and discuss what you saw, experienced and felt because this was such a horrific time in our history it should never be forgotten. The tour guide was excellent explained that when the site became a museum in 1947 many of the tour guides were former inmates who were able to explain exactly what happened to them. He said that he sees his role as keeping their stories alive today and he certainly did that .

Brilliant tour. Great pickup service on time and friendly. Provided a fabulous packed lunch for a fair price, booked the day before via WhatsApp. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Difficult trip but very much worth while. Would recommend.
