Auschwitz & Salt Mine: Krakow's Unforgettable Dual Tour

Peter was our Guide/Bus Driver, he was very nice and very helpful. Not much time for breaks as its a packed iteniary but this is stated in the package. We had Eugena as our guide in the salt mines. She was brilliant and very entertaining. The salt mines were very enjoyable. Arthur was our guide for both Auschwitz camps. He was also a very good guide and a wealth of knowledge. If you are in Krakow or surrounding areas I highly recommend this tour.

This tour is a very poignant recount of the experiences of the Jewish people who suffered at the hands of the Nazis. It is done with compassion and empathy and you leave wondering how anybody survived the brutality of the camp.

Very emotional visit as it made you think of what people had to endure to survive, especialy children! Well organised and explained by the interpreter who was amazing at explaining everything

I cannot begin to describe how brilliant the tour guide for Auschwitz was The salt mines and Birkenhau are the two ends on the spectrum of humanity - the beauty of a carved underground church to the evil of the death camps The tour was well organised and the transportation arrangements were perfect

A long day but I got a lot from the trip. We were a family of 4 - 2 adults 2 boys (15 and 12) Auschwitz website recommends children over 14 attend but my almost 13 year old was mature enough to cope with the content. I think as a parent, you know your children and can make the decision. Lukasz was our guide in the salt mine. Kasia in Auschwitz. There is so much information to take in. Both guides amazing at their job. Choose Cracow also faultless. You're in safe hands with Thomas, Christopher, Julia and their team. Highly recommend the packed lunch and this trip! Thanks for an unforgettable day.

The trip was very well organized and Peter (our driver) was extremely efficient and helpful. Everything went according to plan without delays or problems of any kind. The only issue was that in the end hotel pickup was in fact not possible for us as our hotel was in the old town. Apparently this is the fault of Viator (they incorrectly confirm that a hotel pickup is available for hotels in the old town). As a result we had to meet our bus in a location not too far (600 meters) from our hotel.

Excellent communication from the company prior to the day. Optional packed lunch was good value. Driver and guides were very good.

Everything was as described. Even though I had some last minute changes of my plan, and I could only participate to Auschwitz part, they were willing to facilitate that and even deducted the price.

The trip ran like clockwork. Julia, who handled logistics, and Peter, our driver, were proactive, informative, polite, and friendly. We were picked up right on time and dropped back exactly as planned. The coach was comfortable, and the food was plentiful. Both tours were excellent and led by knowledgeable guides. Maciej, at the Salt Mines, had a deep passion for the site and shared its fascinating history beautifully. The mine itself was stunning to see. Auschwitz was a harrowing experience but exceptionally well organised from arrival to departure — a marked improvement compared to a previous visit with another tour operator a few years ago. The guide was deeply knowledgeable and showed great respect for the tragic history of the site.

Excellent tour. Both places are amazing and should not be missed in a trip to Krakow. Excellent communication and extremely well organised. Tour guides at both locations very knowledgeable and bus guide was awesome. The optional lunch was excellent and really good value. It’s a long and busy day so highly recommend getting the lunch.
