Very exciting tour with just the right mix of history and creepiness. Our guide, David Rizzio, was excellent, and led us through the dark passages in an entertaining and informative way. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely time being shown around by David Rizzio, who certainly had the Rizz and kept us entertained even when the stories got quite grim. He definitely knew his stuff and the stories and sights were very interesting.

Tour guide, David Rizzio (fake name) was in character as a 16th century ghost, formerly Queen Mary’s best friend, who was brutally murdered. Foul mouthed and irreverent, he did a great job as a disgruntled spirit forced to take a low paying job guiding ghost tours. Amazing trek through a very creepy and historic cemetery and underground tunnels. Filled with gruesome history and lore. Not for children, the faint of heart or the easily offended, but perfect for adults looking for a fun time. Think Fight Club meets ghost tour.

So much fun, what a great tour and the guide was hilarious but R-Rated (which made it even better). I would definitely recommend it

I was expecting to see a little bit more of the graveyard and vaults , and maybe less of just standing waiting while the guide tells stories.. a bit disappointed but overall funny experience

Maggie Dickenson’s character was entertaining, informative and friendly host…. In spooky locations with ghosts everywhere…. Who knew?!

Total waste of money, advertised as a ghost tour with only 3 ghost stories for the hour we were on the tour. The guide was yawning the whole way round and couldn't tell a story without getting distracted by his own frolics. We spent no more than 20 minutes underground and then walked to a nearby graveyard. Save yourself the £18 per head and just Google the stories for your own little tour. Insult to injury was anyone could've just tagged along with the tour, im pretty sure in fact people did just that.

We had a fun and informative tour with a lot of horrible stories, with the guide Mary queen of Scots. She really got into the character …. Including a nightly visit of the graveyard and an underground part under the royal mile. Recommend!
