Having a guided tour of the Lourve is a great decision as our guide was very knowledgeable, fun and passionate about the pieces of art. It would be difficult to have as enjoyable experience on your own without a guide.

well worth the tour, good use of the time and allowed planning for further viewing of other exhibits in the museum

Our tour guide Pierre was excellent! He provided excellent background for all the art work we viewed.

Matteo is AMAZING! I had booked tickets for my boyfriend and me to do our own tour and it was cancelled at the last minute. I scrambled and was able to obtain tickets through Viatour with Matteo, and this was a highlight of our weeklong Parisian trip! Matteo is punctual, friendly, and VERY knowledgeable! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him and appreciated all of his insights. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do a tour and especially to people wanting to conduct their own tour. You will get lost! The Louvre is huge and Matteo did a great job of incorporating lesser known parts of the museum with the popular attractions. If you want a real experience, book with Matteo!

Easy to book. Clear instructions about where to meet. Florence was an excellent guide: personable, knowledgeable and professional.

Amazing experience with Elise. Couldn’t imagine a better tour guide. Despite there being a workers strike and delay with opening the museum, Elise made the wait and uncertainty pleasant and hopeful. She accommodated longer wait time and tour due to the delays which allowed us to get the full experience. Her background in teaching and passion made all the difference and gave us an exceptional experience. Merci Elise.

Elise was fantastic. The museum was closed for 2 hours but she handled it beautifully. Told lost of great stories for those who were willing to stay for the tour.

This tour is perfect if it’s your first time to the Louvre. The Louvre is so massive, I think it would’ve been a bit overwhelming to navigate on your own. This allows you to skip the line and easily navigate the entrance and security, which was awesome. Our tour guide was so good and so nice - I wish I could remember his name. He organized the tour to highlight four major masterpieces with several stops to see and learn about more in between. The historical information he provided was great. When the tour is over, you’re free to stay as long as you want, but if you’re limited on time and have to leave right after the tour, you feel like you’ve done plenty. We were very happy we purchased this for our first trip to Paris.

The meeting point is not at the entrance of the Louvre. Meet our team at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. This huge arch features a horse-drawn chariot on top. With your back to the entrance of the Louvre Pyramid, you will spot it across the road, just before the entrance to the Tuileries Garden.Return details

• PLEASE NOTE! THE MEETING POINT IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE LOUVRE! Meet our City Wonders representative, dressed in blue attire, beside the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. This prominent arch features a horse-drawn chariot on top. To locate it, stand with your back to the entrance of the Louvre Pyramid, and you will spot it across the road, just before the entrance to the Tuileries Garden. Our coordinators, dressed in blue attire, will be standing to the left of the Arc, along the wall railing. • Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure • Only small bags are allowed in the museum • We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours. • Please be aware that all visitors to the Louvre Museums must pass security before entering the museums. While we use a separate Skip the Line group entrance here, it is still often necessary to queue to pass security – albeit a shorter queue. • Please note that parties of 7 or more people may be split in different groups on the day of the tour at the meeting point. • Gratuities for your guide that provided excellent service are appreciated! • To comply with museum regulations, please be prepared to present an ID card for children below 18 years of age. • If you selected the "upgrade" option for wine tasting, your tour will finish at Ô Chateau Wine Bar - 68 Rue Jean Jacques Rousseau - 75001 Paris.
