Wow! What an amazing tour with Max! We went to some of the most amazing wineries and had an incredible day!

My husband and I had a truly amazing day!!! Max was an excellent guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We tasted some really delicious wines. The staff at the wineries were also friendly and knowledgeable. The piece de resistance was an amazing lunch at le Chateau de Fines Roches.

We very much enjoyed the tour. We tasted excellent wine, and our guide Max gave us a fascinating introduction to local grape growing and wine making while we visited the vineyards and production rooms. Max is very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We had an excellent lunch on the way and befriended our tour companions. It was a wonderful day.

A perfect Provence experience. Romain was a trained sommelier and a wonderful guide. His knowledge and expertise was astounding. We visited 4 completely unique wineries. The arranged lunch was fabulous.

A delightful excursion that combines stunning vineyard scenery with expert guidance. Our knowledgeable guide took us through three family‑run estates, each offering a distinct expression of the iconic blends. Tastings were generous yet well‑paced, and we learned the nuances of terroir, aging, and famous techniques. The small‑group format allowed plenty of questions, and the complimentary cheese board paired perfectly with the wines. Easy pick‑up from Avignon and a memorable glimpse into one of France’s most celebrated appellations—highly recommended for both novices and connoisseurs.

Romain’s private full day Chateauneuf du Pape tour for the four of us was outstanding. Given he is a WSET Level 4 diploma certified sommelier (and teaches levels 1-3), his detailed knowledge of wines and winemaking extend far beyond the Chateauneuf du Pape AOC. Romain selected excellent wineries for our tastings, all of which he has longstanding relationships with. The lunch reservation he arranged was in a beautiful setting and the food and service were exceptional. Overall the tour was beyond our expectations and Romain was simply a delight to be with. Thank you Romain for the wonderful day!

Max was an outstanding guide who provided us with a thorough description of the wines produced in the region. He covered the soils, grapes, blends, vineyards, barreling and labeling that distinguish French wines in an informative and humorous manner. We sampled no fewer than thirteen varieties which allowed us ta taste the differences of what Max had explained. Great tour!

What a wonderful day with multiple ‘pinch me’ moments. Romain is an incredibly generous host, sharing his deep knowledge of wine in general and Chateauneuf-du-Pape wines specifically. He is a great educator, tailoring his discussion in ways that make complex information easy to digest. The domains we tasted gave us an insight into the different approaches taken by winemakers and an opportunity to experience a good range of wines from this renowned appellation. The venue for lunch was glorious - delicious food and wine, overlooking beautiful scenery on a warm and sunny day. Perfect!
