Unfortunately we were the only two people on this tour and while our tour guide, Henry, did take us to the castle and to the location of the wine tasting, he never gave us a walking tour of Heidelberg with background information of the history and various landmarks.

Henry was a delight from the first impression (reaching out via what’s app to confirm) to checking in after our trip was done! We loved the history side of the tour and he brought along graphics to make it come to life! It was a great afternoon that included wine tasting that was a great highlight! Recommend his tours AA++

Hi there, Bela was amazing however we were supposed to go to the castle winery we ended up going to a pub where we waited a significant amount of time and then they brought 5 full glasses of wine each and could only drink one glass. I would have purchased the lower price one for 2 glasses. We also did find out we could have had wine at the castle. Can I respectfully ask you refund the higher priced tour and just charge us for the 2 lower priced tour I believe at 134 Euros. Thanks for your consideration. Susan

My friend and I had a great tour of Heidelberg with Henry. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Wine tasting at the end was good too! Thanks Henry!

My friend and I spent the Columbus Day weekend in Heidelberg. We opted to take a walking tour of Heidelberg with Henry. The tour included five wine tastings. Originally, we were going to do the visit to the winery; however, we had to sculpt a new version of the tour since the winery was hosting a festival. As there were only two of us, Henry took great care of us with a private and informative tour. He took us to back streets with unque views of the castle and into an Asian garden, which was lovely. He provided some great history of this amazing city. As for the wine tasting, we took the first two in the Karlplatz, where there was a mini wine festival going on. Here, we were joined by an adorable Spanish child, who simply sat down at our table. Her mother joined us too so we stopped the tour, enjoyed two glasses of dry white wine, one from the Weingut Clauer, practiced our Spanish, and adapted. Later, Henry took us to Schnookeloch, where we enjoyed our last three tastings. This is the oldest student bar in Heidelberg. Here, we had the one Portuguese rosé and two of the reds (the Dornfelder and the Spätburgunder) they offered. We also explored this historic bar, restaurant, and hotel. Lots of history here...if only these walls could talk. I Ioved the hats of the fraternities, the woodwork in the lights, and an old poem about the Bruckenaffe. While we didn't eat anything, the wine and service were great. Henry also gave us recommendations on other things to do and places to eat. We immediately took his advice and ordered some onion cake and new wine at the Café Grundel. I definitely will use his tour when I return here with my wife.

Marian met us on time and personalized our tour to my husband and I as it turned out to be just the two of us. He shared interesting stories of Heidelberg and we had a great wine tasting at a local brewery. We took the funicular train up to the Castle Schloss and then took the higher tram up to the top for a spectacular view of Heidelberg. Cherry on top was the recommendation for dinner at a German Restaurant-BierZeitung- that was the best meal of our trip. Thanks!

Henry did an amazing job. Just myself and my wife on the tour, so Henry was able to modify the tour to our requests. Great job. Would absolutely book and use Henry next time we’re in Germany.

It was a real pleasure meeting Henry and having him show us around Heidelberg. His detailed knowledge of the current Town and its history enlightened us . The Castle tour with the wine tasting was a proper highlight and a big thanks too to Timo (who served the wine and added some great facts about the Castle and the local wines). The itinerary, length of the walk and content were all just right for us . Thanks again Henry - all the best for successful future tours . Dave & Pat, Essex, England 🇬🇧

Wine tasting at castle cellar was the highlight. The employee at the wine tasting did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the tour of Heidelberg was underwhelming. Recommend simply going to the castle cellar on your own---especially for the price of the tour.
