Sandy was a fabulous guide from collection in our hotel and throughout the day. Having Sandy and her knowledge of history made the day so enjoyable. My 19yo originally was won over- we can’t imagine a better day on our China trip. So helpful to have a guide to beat the long lines and especially to have information via an ear piece all morning. At The Great Wall we could go at our own pace and was an amazing day. A buffet lunch and tea ceremony was included and I’m grateful for it. There was a Jade factory inclusion but we didn’t feel the need to buy anything all day. I highly recommend this trip is you are in Beijing!

Our tour guide Rocky was awesome. He is very knowledgeable about the forbidden city and he is an excellent photographer. He took amazing pictures of us and the sites so I was very appreciative of that. Definitely would recommend if you want an informative tour with great pictures.

This was a great tour of Beijing - the guide, Rocky, spoke great English and shared a lot of historical context throughout the trip. The driver was timely and logistics were convenient. The Great Wall was by far the highlight of the trip - an experience to remember for a lifetime!

Rocky was an amazing guide! His knowledge of China and its history was impeccable. The team also took great care to make sure we made our train on time at the end. The experience was amazing and a great way to see China!

Rocky is awesome! He is kind, friendly and communicates with ease. The tour is as expected, thorough and kept to good time. Admissions were included. Lots of walking be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Rocky also took great photos of us throughout the experience

I had an incredible time on this Beijing trip, and a huge part of that was thanks to our tour guide, Helen. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely caring. I was dealing with a sore throat during the tour, and Helen went out of her way to make sure I always had something warm to drink before we moved on to the next stop. She also checked in with everyone regularly to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. The tour itself was fantastic—well-organized, great pacing, and filled with memorable sights—but Helen truly made it special. Her enthusiasm and thoughtful attention to each guest took the whole experience to another level. Highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Helen as your guide, you’re in for an exceptional day!

- Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour at least 8 days before. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
- We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
- Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. And make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you will be refused entry by the scenic areas.
- Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we will make proper arrangements.
- Departures are guaranteed with two persons in Mar to Nov and three persons in Dec to Feb.
- Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
