Skye & Eilean Donan: Scotland's Breathtaking Must-See Journey

Our tour to Skye was a delight!!! Alex, our driver, make several stops to take good pictures, including wait a little till heavy rains stops and pass, told us a lot history/forecasting/nature curiosities, we are pretty happy with the tour!!!

Great tour today with guide Alex on the Isle of Skye and along Loch Ness. It's very well planned and informative. The trip is from 8am-8pm but with several stops along the way it breaks the day up nicely. Eilean Donan Castle tour tickets are £12 for the castle or £3.50 for the exterior. It was also a nice group size of 10 of us so we weren't forever chasing people down. Great adventure perfect for solo travellers wanting to socialise a bit and experience the Highlands' atmosphere at it's best.

This was our second trip in the space of 7 months and enjoyed it as much as we did the first one. The weather wasn’t great but what do you expect in the Highlands at the end of October. Saying that Liall made it a really enjoyable experience. Everything was timed really well with short photo stops interspersed with longer stops. Plus, for a 12 hour 275 mile trip there was ample toilet stops. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we go on another experience with Timberbush.

My family and I had an excellent tour of the Isle of Skye thanks to Alex our tour guide. It was the smoothest drive we’ve experienced and not once did it feel tiring. He made sure we got ample of time at all the stops and we could enjoy the trip leisurely.

Our guide Alex was great! He kept us entertained throughout the trip .. it was really comfortable and we got ample time at all stops.. saw some hairy cows on the way as well! For someone who is over 300 years old and a friend of Jamie Fraser, Alex looks really young thanks to the waters under the Sligachan bridge !
