Maurizio is a great guide. The tour gave us insights on Palermo that we would never get from a guidebook and made the rest of our time here much more meaningful.

I highly recommend to take this tour shortly after your arrival in Palermo, as you will learn a lot about the history and the structure of the city, which will make you enjoy your time here even more. Absolutely fabulous!! Our tour guide, Maurizio, was knowledgeable, chatty and friendly and kept us entertained with facts and background stories for the whole 2-3 hours. It was a pleasant walk through old Palermo, past historic buildings, statues, piazzas and a market. The pace was not frenetic and Palermo is pretty flat so you don't have to be super for this walk. Thanks to our expert guide, Fabrizio, who has been able to explain the history that Palermo has gone through from its foundation to today, passing through leaders, nobles, invaders and emperors, we were able to immerse ourselves perfectly in the climate of this beautiful land and city. We didn't get tired of walking at all, despite the fact that the journey was long enough, as they were enraptured by the story and the curiosities told by Fabrizio, a person of great culture and sympathy. I highly recommend the experience especially if you have a few days available so as to concentrate the viewing of multiple attractions in a morning and avoid wasting time looking for roads and areas to visit!
