The driver and guide was very nice and friendly, the minivan was really bad, not enough room to extend your feet and very crowded for 9 people. They overbooked to coach and we ended up in the van.

Perfect event for a couple, Stephen is awesome, very considerate and friendly, clear instructions and detailed introduction given, 10 out of 10 guide. 60 euros for standard visitors and 40 euros for students will be charged in cash on the bus to pay for the castle tickets, defo worthy. Departed at 7am and returned at 7pm, thank you Stephen and wish all the best.

Danny was a wonderful guide! Very knowledgeable and lots of fun. Make sure you get your tickets to the castles from him and pay for the guided tours that he provides. Very fast paced, so if you would like to see everything everywhere, then a tour is not the best option. But it was great for me!

Stefan was a great source of knowledge regarding the architectue, culture, and larger history of Transylvania and Romania. He has a quick wit, combined with an ability to easily switch gears to adjust to the tour group. Great from beginning to end.

Everyone chooses this tour for Bran. I know I did, but the inclusion of Peles is absolutely the highlight of this tour. I’ve never been open mouth amazed before in my life and I was staring at the architecture and surrounding natural beauty of this Castle for what seemed like hours. Truly breathtaking in autumn with the orange hues and misty mountains after climbing up the Alpine inspired mountain villages. I can’t recommend this tour enough it’s worth every minute. The coach rides never feel too long because the scenery of Transylvania is unmatched, and I’m Scottish, I know mountains and natural beauty. Our tour guide Alex was funny, engaging and incredibly well informed. I travelled solo for the first time and never felt lost or confused, I knew exactly where to be and what to do at all times. My only advice would be take travel sickness medication if you’re prone to it, the roads are no joke!

Worth it to go. Saw a lot of beautiful sights. The castles were lovely. Braşov is a cool stop. Just know going in, it’s about a 12 hr excursion. 3 hr ride back to Bucharest, hopefully you can handle that. Nicholas is a great guide.

- On Monday and Tuesday Peles and Pelisor Castles are closed all year round and can be seen from outside. From 3rd November to 2nd December Peles Castle is closed and during this period or on high demands days you can visit optional Pelisor Castle
