What an absolute gem of an experience in the V&A Canals! We were a big group and were accommodated immediately on arrival by super friendly staff and a very calm captain. The onboard commentary in multiple languages was very informative and made us all smile and laugh from time to time. We were able to get off at two stops on the route and jump back on when needed. Treat yourself to this great value experience.

We were so impressed with the value of our canal cruise, what a magnificent outing, such lovely friendly staff on all the little boats, and such an interesting bonus having the history and information about the route we traveled. I am so proud of Cape Town, and of this company that has seamlessly fitted into the majestic V&A Waterfront and added such value to locals and tourists alike. We took the cruise as a surprise for a very special staff member's birthday and she absolutely loved it, as did all of us. Thank you once again, we will do this again and again. Samantha

It was a nice experience and saw the buildings and the hotels. I learned a lot and I saw the water with my mom.

The ride was smooth and peasant. We took the ride at 1pm and the weather was good which added to the peaceful experience. The commentary was also a bonus.

On our first day of a family trip in Cape Town we ‘hopped on’ the City Sight Seeing boat trip from the Marina around the harbour - this short and inexpensive trip was a lovely way to view the harbour with a little bit of history thrown in on the audio - definitely worth doing and the go every 30 mins we all enjoyed it ☺️

While staying at the Westin I took the hop-on hop-off canal cruise. It was very convenient because there was a stop next to the Westin. The cruise was about 25-30 minutes one way. It was a relaxing trip with nice views of the houses, apartments and hotels along the way. The narration was informative. This boat cruise is also a good way to get to the V&A Waterfront for shopping, restaurants and other activities. This is a good and inexpensive way to see another aspect of Cape Town.

Everything was just perfect including the staff on the boat and the fact that you can hop off and back
