It was easy and great. Did one full round and then stopped at a couple of museums. Enhanced my time in Oslo, especially since it was raining.

The bus was comfortable and provided us with what we needed to get around town. The hitch was at the beginning… We did not know which bus to get on as there was some confusion about the bus with white or yellow. All the buses said “hop on, hop off,” so it was very confusing and this continued at every stop. We would hop off to tour some area of Oslo, then when we went back to the bus stop, it was the same thing all over again… Which bus to get on.The second issue was with the running narrative… There was a lot of static on mine, and the earbuds do not fit in my ears. Other than that, it was perfect!

Covers many important sights . Buses come frequently. Commentary via ear buds good.. Bus met us at cruise port which was very convenient.

May be busy periods when seats are not available such as when tour boats dock. Drivers may skip stops.

This wasn’t as good as other hop on hop off yours. Very hard to hear commentary. A lot of the plugs didn’t work. Buses were running very behind.

Don’t try and get on bus when cruise ships have just arrived. It was a very rainy day and the buses were ill-equipped to deal with this upstairs. Plastic blinds not secure enough with water getting in. Sound systems often not working.

I have always enjoyed the Hop-on-Hop-off bus tours. The Oslo version (red) was quite good/informative/comfortable. I would recommend it to anyway who wants a quick introduction to Oslo.

I wish I could give this a better review, but it was a disappointment. I should have read the reviews before I booked it. The audio frequently didn't line up with the location. The audio also made several references to 2019, so it clearly was out of date. The windows are so low that I frequently missed the sight. It did drive us around the route shown on the map, but for almost $100 for two people, we could have explored Oslo on our own for much less money. I would recommend you buy the Rick Steeves book and just use public transportation.

Some of the locations are far so you will save time doing this. They run every 30 minutes. Love it. Very relaxing
