Stockholm's Ultimate Hop-On Bus: Unforgettable City Tour!

This bus trip was a nice was to get an overview of Stockholm, allowing me to walk the rest of the week in the city with more confidence. Great thing to do first thing, even with a little jet lag.

The hop on and off bus was perfect for our needs. Very economical way to see and travel around the city.

It’s a nice way to explore the city. The description of places is usually behind meaning inherit at the place you’re at or even after sometimes.

The bus stop seemed clearly marked in front of ABBA museum but the driver passed us by. We had to cross the street to the other side to pick it up. It was hot the audio tour is minimal and it was not clear when it ran until - I asked if okay to stay on and run the full loop and the driver was confused by my question. There’s no snacks and beverages as stated.

I love doing City Bus tours - it's a great way to get an overview of a city before exploring in greater depth. But this tour was a bit hit and miss. The first bus had faulty headset sockets so there was no commentary for the trip, and a grumpy driver to boot. After a few stops he announced that he was taking a 30min break and we need to disembark (in the rain!) and either wait for him to restart or wait for another bus to pass. Thankfully the second bus was better with working sound and a more engaging driver.

This hop on hop off bus stops at your cruise terminal so you can ride all day and they take you back to the ship. All Languages are available !

Great way to get an overview of the city. Convenient to access stops. Multiple buses. Didn’t have to wait long.

Buses took too long to get to stops. Information was minimal. Ear phone jacks not always working. Bus driver was nice.

After purchasing nonrefundable tickets, I read the reviews and I was horrified at how bad they were. I tried to see if there was any way to get my money back and there wasn't. We had the lowest expectations because people talked about not knowing where to catch the bus, rude drivers, the worst experience they've ever had globally, etc. We were not looking forward to this experience but we were stuck with it. I'm happy to say that we had a great time with the City sightseeing hop on hop off buses in Stockholm! The drivers were polite, they gave you a headset was a nice guided tour and offered the pre-recorded tour in several languages. The bus stops are covered and well marked… Lots of the different hop on hop off buses stop at the same stops. We had no problem catching the buses in a timely manner… Didn't wait more than five minutes (that may have to be just luck)... but we had a great time. You can sit upstairs or you can sit downstairs on the bus. I would highly recommend this tour! Stockholm is a gorgeous city and we just did the entire loop first before deciding where we wanted to stop. I would do that again! We stopped at the VASA ship museum which was really phenomenal and then we also walked around old town/ Gamla Stan.

Stockholm was a great city to visit with Hop on/Hop off,,the tour operator City Sightseeing even took us back to the cruise port 1 hour away in Nynshamm,, people were so impressed with this service,,, Thank You City Sightseeing and too the courteous drivers you employ!
