Unforgettable Jeju: Private 3-Day Island Tour + Nanta Magic

We arrived in Jeju on 29 Dec 2022 taking a flight out of Seoul. The manager Mr Jin was in constant touch with us and was waiting to pick us up at the airport. He brought us to our hotel - Hotel Gloucester which is a fine hotel in the downtown area. As gym facilities were not available in the hotel, he offered to use his own private gym nearby and went through with his promise. Our tour guide Ms June was very informative and drove us around for 2 days, constantly enriching our experience with bits of information about the culture, heritage, foods to eat and history of monuments etc. She is a safe driver and has a very high EQ to understand clients needs and tastes. Not once did we feel that we were short changed or in typical tourist traps during this trip. She was mindful to give us our space as well and let us have our moments too. Overall, a very professional yet warm group of people that we dealt with from this agency made Jeju an unforgettable experience.

It was an amazing 3-day marathon around Jeju but was very satisfying. Thanks to our efficient lady driver/guide June Goh from Core Travels for her patience in giving-in to the changes we made in our itinerary. Very highly recommendable!

We (2 people) booked this tour because we had read that, while possible, it is difficult to get around the island of Jeju by public transport, and we did not want to rent a car and drive on our own. To book this tour proved to be a very wise choice as we had a tremendously good time and got to see many of the highlights of the island in an entirely relaxed way. We can highly recommend this tour organizer. We arrived on a Friday morning and were picked up at the airport and driven to the hotel (the Howard Johnson close to the airport but in a pleasant part of Jeju city that has many restaurants and shops). In the afternoon we were on our own (as per arrangement) and used the time to take a hop-on-hop-off tour bus (stop 22, the hotel lobbyist helped us locate the bus stop which is close by, 3000 won, single trip) to get to one of the beautiful markets. From there we walked to some of the city sights and took a taxi back to the hotel. The next day we were picked up by our tour guide right on time. He went over the program with us and we set out in a comfortable van. On the first day we visited sights in the South of the island on the second day in the East of the island. In the evening of the second night, we visited the Nanta show. We were always given enough time to explore and were never rushed. We felt that the selection of sights was excellent so that we got some valuable insights into the culture of the island and its beautiful scenery. Our guide’s English was excellent. He was friendly, forthcoming, knowledgeable about the island and answered all of our questions. Within minutes of starting the tour, relaxation kicked in, combined with the excitement of discovering a new and beautiful place. There is plenty more to see on Jeju, but we felt that we were able to make the most of the 3 days we had available.

<p>My family had a great time on this private tour in Jeju. We were picked up on schedule at the airport and we had free time to explore the city in the afternoon. Thereafter, we visited several scenic sights/museums on both sides of the island over the next 2 days capped with the awesome Nanta show We would like to thank our guide Ms Ko for being a patient, knowledgable and wonderful guide. She was able to customise this tour to our needs and also made very good recommendations for our meals.</p>
