Ted was our host for this wine tour. He was entertaining, enthusiastic and eloquent. He was full of local knowledge and engaging for the whole tour. The wineries were well chosen, lunch at Carrick was delicious. Overall we had an excellent day out.

We really like Otago area wines, so we were happy to find this tour. Our tour guide Evie was fabulous—full of stories about the region and the wines and never made us feel too rushed. We loved the scenery on the drive between Queenstown and the central Otago valley. The 4 vineyards we visited tended to be located in beautiful settings and served delicious wines. We had a really nice lunch at one winery, but the pours there were tiny, the place was packed and loud, and we could barely hear the woman describing the wines we were tasting. It felt very assembly line. I wouldn’t let that put you off from the tour, but it would be nice if there were an alternative place for a winery that serves lunch.

Our guide John was very funny and accommodating throughout the tour. He told us lots of interesting stories about the local areas and wine tours (and had terrible dad jokes!!) John made sure everyone felt comfortable and the group warmed up very quickly with wine and good chat! The wineries were beautiful and unique. Lots of wine to taste!! The lunch was absolutely stunning. The views were awesome too. Very good value for money, thanks again John!!

This was such good tour. The tour leader was amazing and had so much intimate knowledge of the region. Do not hesitate if you enjoy wine. This is well worth it!

Experience was great. Your guide was fun and knowledgeable! Our group ended up only being 4, which worked out great.

Awesome experience - not just wine but also a lovely scenery along the way. Good guide. I would only recommend a bit of light music on the way back

Lovely tour with a great guide John who made it really enjoyable and got to meet some lovely people along the way. The lunch included was fantastic and we got to visit some really nice vineyards that I wouldn’t have otherwise known or thought about.

The choice of wineries and their hosts were perfect but our guide made the day! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes to have fun while drinking some stellar wines and learning about them as well as some of NZ history. Perfect day!

My wife and I enjoyed this tour! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable about the region, and easy to communicate with. The itinerary was well planned, all of the wineries had an area waiting for our group and everything was seamless on our end. Lunch was shared between 2 people. A pie, crackers/cheeses, dips, bread/olive oil. Good mix of red and white wines, mostly Pinot noirs because they are local to the region! The van was a sprinter type van, with a 2/1 seating configuration. At every winery, you had the opportunity to buy full bottles. And there was an option to sign up for a wine club to have NZ wines shipped to your home. We would recommend this tour!

We found Paul was an excellent driver and a fount of information about the different vineyards here in Otago. We met ten other guests from around the world and couldn't rate the experience more highly
