Authentic Thai Market Magic: Train Track & Floating Tour

Our Driver Mr. Lid BKK was amazing. He was knowledgable about the area and all his suggestions were spot on. He was punctual and provided the level of service we had expected.

It was everything as advertised. We had a wonderful guide and driver who get us on time and informed. The train ride was fascinating and we enjoyed the experience of being on and off the train as it rode through the first market. The floating market on land and on boat was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a great day. Our tour guide Victor was very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt it was well worth the admission fee. We had enough time at each venue. Although we were on the busiest train of the day at the railway market we managed to get seats as it wasn't the busiest time of year. Our driver was very good and the staff at the restaurant where we had lunch were lovely and helpful.

Excellent tour. They picked us up from our hotel on time and let us know the pick up time the day before. We rode the train through the market and stayed to watch it leave and had time to browse the market too. Then on to the floating market which was a wonderful relaxing experience with more time for browsing after the boat ride. Plenty of stops for toilet and drinks on the way there but not on the way back.

It was a small group, guide was great. We had enough time to shop and we enjoyed the train ride. There is plenty of shops around the train and the floating market was nice

The elderly couple that was our tour guide were wonderful and cute. English was not great but effort was 100%. He’s a good driver although he pulses the pedal. She was just warm. This trip exceeded my expectations because I did not realize that we get to ride the train so we had the experience of being on board and the experience of standing in the market as the train left.If you’re in Bangkok for two days, I would definitely make this one of my tours. I recommend going earlier so you have the rest of the day to do other things.

Our guide Tim was extremely good and kept us in the right place at the right time while accommodating our wishes. The 12 seater “bus” was extremely cramped but got us very where we needed to be. The one downside of this tour is they do not return you to your pick up hotel, they drop you off at the end of the tour at the MBK mall, nearly 4 miles from our hotel. A bit of shopping and a taxi later (USD9) we were back at our hotel, no problem. Be aware they picked us up at 8:45am and dropped us off at 3:30pm (~7hours) plus the taxi ride, so the 6 hour schedule is nearer to 8 hours when finished.

This was an amazing experience! Jum, our guide was incredible and was so sweet. Loved the markets had plenty of time to explore and just experience anything that we wanted.

This was so much fun! The train market including the train ride was definitely an experience- some shopping and also there are salt fields at the station. Floating markets were also nice. Our tour guide Bob was exceptional- caring, resourceful, knowledgeable- he was top notch! Would def recommend.
